There is an example of degradation over time through copying a file on the popular social media site of Youtube. It shows a video downloaded, reuploaded, then repeated of this process several hundred times. The video becomes so horridly distorted and badly degraded that it is unwatchable. This is the best comparison to explain Shaunna's brain. She is some bizarre experiment by an unknown, supernatural entity that delights in cloning her over and over again. Sanity, is definitely in question when pertaining to this redhead.

She cannot explain how she always comes back with a full memory of everything up to her death, nor does she have the slightest clue why someone would put her through this. The only things she has gleaned is she is a female clone of a male, though she knows little else then that. To make her life more difficult, is although she has memory of everything current.. If she goes back far enough in thought, it all starts to bleaken. She does not have a childhood to recall. She can, at best, recall simply becoming aware on a park bench and having to start life from there. Do you have any idea how complicated that is? No identification, no social security number, no money, nothing. Suffice to say, she had to claw and climb from the muck and mire of a destitute beginning.

After a couple years of struggle and hardship in many circumstances she cares not to ever repeat or mention, she has managed to get herself to the traditional standard of living as everyone else. You know, mostly without any actual funds in bank account, bills to pay, and a mediocre apartment. Oh, and just about everything in the universe killing her at least once a week. So, there's that.

Ah, the joys of a screwed up life.
