After being transformed into a Buddyfight monster by Agito, Aira was given an alternate form known as Shaping Fox Aira. Although his name says that, he is a Spiral Dragon through and through with a slightly more fox-like appearance. He still wears his signature pink dress shirt, but he now also wears a chain around his waist and chews on a leaf for a more tough-guy look.

Despite the tough-guy look, Aira is a kind-hearted and fun-loving individual. If anything, he's probably become a bit more lazy and laid back due to Agito's influence.

This version of Aira is no longer a forest guardian, but a loyal follower of the Linkdragon Order. He willingly follows Agito's orders and assists his fellows whenever they are in danger.

As a Buddyfight monster, Shaping Fox Aira can transform into any monster, copying their abilities though keeping his original power. However, when he does this, that means his fellow Linkdragon Order dragons can also temporarily share the abilities of the monster he's copied, making him rather dangerous as a foe and the first target many go after. When he's absorbed by Agito so that the latter may regain his true power, Shaping Fox Aira counts as 3 Soul Cards.


Backstory:
While Aira was minding his own business, the fox was approached by a dragon who called himself Agito. Agito and his comrades had an important Buddyfight coming up and they wanted Aira to join the Linkdragon Order so they could add his skills to their group. With Agito's “For Share” ability, every one of them would become stronger. Aira, however, refused the offer due to having his own things to take care of and frankly not being interested in some card game. While Agito was fine with that, the other members of his Order begged him to get the fox to reconsider. Seeing the look on their faces, Agito couldn't say no.

Agito launched a surprise attack. While not dealing too much damage physically, he'd manged to inflict enough of a blow to Aira's skull that it afflicted him with a case of temporary amnesia. Knowing this was his chance, Agito convinced the amnesiac vulpine to join the Order. Before Aira could regain his memories, Agito transformed Aira into a Buddyfight monster like himself, thereby ensuring that Aira would become a loyal follower of the Linkdragon Order. After all, that's what his card says!
