Cydian is a small 3'6" tall dark gray dragon. Their scales and body can change hardness based on their mood, and they have a very unstable ability to reform after death that results in their body never having a consistent default gender, among a few other details. Cydian doesn't actually need any sort of sustenance to survive, though they become sluggish if they don't eat or sleep. Cydian is rather hard to kill without completely destroying their body, since they don't actually rely on any vital organs. They're light-hearted and generally enjoy the company of others, though they may seem a bit reserved at first before they get to know someone. You could also look over this profile for some slightly different information.

Alright, so I've got an actual detailed profile written here. If you don't like profiles that get all into character information, or you'd rather find out this stuff from interacting with the character yourself, then you're probably set to just continue on your way right now. In the event that you're either bored and looking for something to read, or you actually want to know more about the character before you decide if you want to get into a scene with them, then by all means, dive right in.

tl;dr - If you don't actually want to look at blocks of text, you should be glad to know I've added a short tl;dr section to every one of these tabs, so you can still browse and get a feel for what's going on here.

Cydian doesn't rely on any internal organs to survive, they're mostly there since Cydian's body was locked the way it was when they were Shadowcasted, though everything within them will still function as normal and fail as normal under the right circumstances. If any of Cydian's internal organs fail--mainly the usually vital ones--it's enough of a hit to cause the effects that would normally occur when such an organ fails, although without any permanent effects.
For example, if Cydian's heart were to stop, they would pale and lose consciousness. However, they won't die from this after a short while as others may, their body simply takes a while to realize that it's still functioning without the heart, and will eventually start working fine again. It's possible for Cydian to be walking around with a stopped heart, and it's even possible to restart it again while they're conscious. It's odd, and very unsettling for them. However, as a downside to walking around with a dead heart, Cydian becomes very weak and sluggish. It's easy to overpower them, and they likely won't be able to support any excess weight.
If Cydian were to run out of oxygen, they'd start to gasp and suffocate as usual, until eventually their lungs give out and Cydian passes out. Again, after a while, their body realizes that it's still functioning, and will resume working as usual. In all honesty, it's probably not even that far off to call them undead.
Cydian has an odd relation with their own body. That much should be apparent. Mostly every part of them is unecessary, and only ends up causing issues. That's true for basically everything except for their eyes. Rather than their consciousness being centered within their head, Cydian's eyes serve as the controller for the rest of their body. Cydian's eyes aren't soft or squishy either, they seem to have a makeup similar to that of gemstones. As long as they remain intact, Cydian can retain (or recover) consciousness after taking virtually any amount of damage to the rest of their body. Of course, if they lack certain parts of themselves, they can't fully make use of their body when they come to, but Cydian will be aware of their surroundings. Cydian obviously won't be able to move if they lost their limbs, they won't be able to talk if they're missing their jaw and/or throat, things like that.

tl;dr - Cydian's body requires absolutely nothing that it contains in order to survive, but it'll simulate the effects of failing organs because "It's used to it happening" or something about them recreating the feeling of actually being alive. A stupid weakness to neigh-invincibility.

Cydian uses the term "Shadowcasted" to describe the situation they've found themself in (and for the sake of making it easy to mention while writing the rest of the profile). Quite some time ago, they were really just your standard young dragon, going out making a nuisance of themself. One long and unfortunate day, they ended up falling prey to a large, odd, shadowy creature that seemed like it was pulled straight from a nightmare. It wasn't something Cydian can say they've seen or ever heard mention of before, and to this day they've never seen anything else like it. Upon falling victim to this creature, rather than it doing anything natural that can be recalled in memory, everything just went dark. Most of their memory was stripped from them, and their physical form lost most of its original details as it went through various shifts and changes. Needless to say, their true original appearance and past up until that point is unknown even to them, including their original gender. They found themselves within the park to start anew, or possibly recover what remains of their memory.

tl;dr - Lore stuff happened, shadowy origins, amnesia, woo, spooky shit that no one cares about, Cydian.

Aside from their physical properties, Cydian doesn't have much in the way of actual power. They don't possess the traditional 'dragon fire breath' that's so common with the drakes, they aren't very physically strong, and they don't even have wings. Cydian does, however, have some odd abilities that they can use to help get them out of a pinch, although usually it's a better idea to rely on instinct.

When Cydian is in the open and in contact with a shadow, they can displace themselves to any other point that the said shadow is connected to, as long as there's nothing directly in the path between Cydian and the destination that would otherwise prevent them from directly moving there. The best example of this would be to use a large round tree casting a shadow directly down beneath it. If Cydian was touching one end of the shadow that the tree is casting, they could instantly Jaunt over to any other part of the shadow that they can see. They can't, however, Jaunt directly to the other end of the shadow through the tree trunk, since that would otherwise prevent them from going straight to the other side. A Jaunt is basically a quick zip that cuts out the travel time between point A and point B. It doesn't allow Cydian to go through walls or small entrances that they otherwise would be unable to pass. The main use for the Jaunt is to quickly travel short distances outside, often away from predators.
As with anything good, the Jaunt has... downsides. If Cydian is unable to clearly focus while attempting a jaunt, be it due to panic, fatigue, or what have you, there's a very good chance that Cydian will end up misplacing themselves at the end of the jaunt, placing them either unexpectedly close to where they started, or in a completely different direction from where they intended to go. There's also a good chance Cydian will just up and paralyze themself by jaunting into the same place they started with extra pressure, functionally slamming themselves into the ground beneath them.
(( I'm likely to roll a d4 in chat when using an unfocused jaunt to determine its result, a 1 being paralysis, a 2 being a jaunt cut short, a 3 being the wrong direction, and a 4 working as intended. Depending on the situation with chaining fatigue, it may also start as a d6, with every result the same, but an additional two chances for success, 5 and 6. With the right modifier, rolling anything below a 1 could cause actual injury as opposed to just paralyzation. ))
Cydian also has issues sustaining successive jaunts one after the other, and even when fully focused from the start, chaining two in quick succession can leave them fatigued enough to fumble a third.

tl;dr - Cydian can teleport themselves through shadows as long as they have a clear path and line of sight to their destination. Repeated use or fatigue may cause these teleports to cause undesirable results and/or paralyzation. Whoops.

As much as I hate to say it, I'm terrible at approaching people, and you probably shouldn't expect me to make many--if any--first moves when it comes to talking to people, although I am trying my best to get better at approaching people. If I do, I'm only going to be approaching those with either the LFRP or Open status.
I do, however, still love getting whispers! Even if you aren't quite sure about setting up a scene, I'm fine with someone just whispering to talk about characters or whatnot. I'm usually never actually in the middle of anything, so you shouldn't feel like you're interrupting me unless I'm specifically using the Do Not Disturb status, in which case I'll probably still talk, but will likely reject scenes. Just don't be surprised if I also don't say much or stop responding altogether after saying something.
I'll quite often be playing some silly, prudish shenanigans with stickers in general Vore Room chat, but that's generally just me being a goof in public. I will by default, however, take private RPs with a much more serious attitude when the scene isn't also silly shenanigans. In other words, I tend to just play much more light-heartedly in public. That is also not to say I won't start taking public scenes seriously when they become less silly, though.

This also slightly extends to OOC, and if your first words are anything resembling "do you want to eat me," expect a very quick no.
