ShadesofBlack

Hi, I'm ShadesofBlack. Or Shades, if you like.

I'm just here to be an alt list and some info about myself.

I tend to be really rambley and overthink or overexplain things a lot, so don't feel like you have to read everything here. But you should at least glance at my disclaimers below before playing with my characters.

A quick bit about me and how I engage, I tend to mostly idle in the chat and wait for approach it seems. I have a LOT of basic ideas in my character bios. So if you have an idea to play with one of my characters or like one of mine, please feel free to whisper, even if I'm "distracted!" On the same note, if I whisper you and you aren't interested, feel free to say so, I will always take "no" for an answer. Also PLEASE tell me what you like about my characters, or why you are interested in them. What about the kinks we enjoy together makes you like them? This sort of info really helps give me drive to keep sharing.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My Schedule:
I'm usually around a night or two during the week, anywhere between 23:00 to 7:00 chat time. Weekend nights sometimes, but less often and usually not until after 2 or 3. If you want to plan a day/time to meet up for a story or game, feel free to ask me. Otherwise it's luck of the draw when we run into one another.
Alts:
Here's a quick summary of all of my alts, who they are, and the "genre" and/or feel of vore story they are intended to play in. Their genres can be changed or the characters adapted to your native setting, but if you prefer so, we should talk about it in advance please.
Katelyn is a woman who once found the oasis that is love, and then lost it harshly. As an orphan, she's been lonely for much of her life, and returning to that state crushed her. She's been trying to recover ever since, and has indulged herself in some strange fantasies, which she's found she has the ability to fulfill. Very shy, and kind, but also very hungry for attention and love. Katelyn doesn't have many friends, and struggles with self-worth.
Considerate, romantic, submissive (when willing), and gentle. Native Genre: Katelyn is mainly intended for play in "discovering a friend or partner's secret, fun abilities" sort of stories. Stories where vore either isn't commonplace or isn't well known. Katelyn is meant to be an affectionate endo, or even submissive pred. She can also be prey or pred in some scenes or stories without worrying about this, but I prefer her natural genre for long stories.
Potential_Katelyn is an alternate version of Katelyn that I want to create through a very long, plot based roleplay with someone. Basically a placeholder for a potential AU version of Katelyn that gets to become an adventurer or a mech pilot and save people and have plot and shit. And maybe vore and romance, maybe nah.
Native Genre: Same as above, but in a tabletop rpg style adventure story, where Katelyn starts out relatively weak.
Mindy_Shuellik: A more aggressive predator than Katelyn, she eats because she's hungry or horny and people are yummy and satisfying, and is more than likely to digest her food or otherwise keep it down. Doesn't matter which way she takes her prey, unless it was discussed beforehand or they are very clever, they usually won't be coming back out. She does have a lot of playfulness though, and prefers happy meals to scared meals. Plays volleyball and loves it, maybe as much as vore.
Confident, assertive, sexually dominant, predatory. Native Genre: Mindy is meant for dominance and scenes where wanton lust or enjoyment tend to take the place of the inhibitions of her prey. She's not gauranteed lethal, but there is usually a high risk of being digested or melted, despite her usually non-chalant demeanor. Her ability to see into the kinks and desires of others lets her find the ones who won't be difficult targets. Almost entirely pred.
Miranda_Stephens is a regular girl (who happens to have both a penis and a vagina) finishing up high school. She has the odd ability to eat people, that she uses pretty regularly: on purpose, by accident, and sometimes just to show it off. No one ever has much of a problem with it for some reason, not even friends and relatives of her prey. Seriously, it's a cool trick, you should see her do it sometime.
Casually or accidantally predatory, usually sexually unashamed, carefree, fun and games. Native Genre: Miranda is for a further extreme of nonchalance surrounding vore even when it's assumed to be a one-way trip. To a point of being surreal and downright unrealistic. "Oh, that just happens sometimes, it's annoying" is usually the most unfavorable reaction. People vanishing into her is just a regular thing, even if either inconvenient or sexy.
Suzanne: A literal ghost of a girl who technically isn't dead yet, but might as well be. Being on death's doorstep has desensitized her to shyness about sexuality and she sometimes acts on impulse, but if she's thinking about it she will totally respect boundaries of folks who can see her. If only she were to find such a person... Can be considered a "goo girl" made of ectoplasm for some purposes. (Has been in only a couple stories.)
Mostly incorporeal, graceful, creative, eager for fun sexual or otherwise. Native Genre: Suzanne is for stories that alternate between serious feels (though they don't have to dwell) and wacky ghostly hijinks that tend to wind up vorish or otherwise kinky. I usually like for people to meet Suzanne in scene, but "aldready known" scenes are possible. "Oh yah, by the way, my room mate is a ghost."
AnnieandJeannette are a pair of newly weds (most generally.) Annie is a naga librarian, and Jeannette is a human (variable) modelling and cosmetology student. Both are women; and it's worth noting that Jeannette is intersex and has a cock. This is a couple-character my wife and I made together to try dipping our toes back into the roleplay scene sometime. I want to run any potential roleplay with this pair by my wife first, both because the character is half hers, and to check if she wants to be included.
Native Genre: Flexible, designed to be potentially played in a setting at least loosely run by another player. Vorish settings, especially those that are at least a bit vore-casual with some nonlethal options, are ideal. Themes of a married couple opening their horizens will probably be part of the story.
*Couvign: A naga boy in highschool/college. Plays on the soccer team, despite his tail. Total closet vorarephile, but usually favors normal food, instead of hunting for prey. He's secretly somewhat like a genie. Unsure what I want to do with this one, I never quite got into the character.
What I'm up to, and recent updates:
11/16/2018
Lately I've been in the mood to make some characters with a bit more mad science or magic. Possibly fan characters included. Not sure where I want to take that first, but open to suggestions. Also, love the idea of DMing a setting for someone or several someones.
Signs:
When I have various signs up, this is roughly what they mean.
Disclaimers and Warnings (Please just be aware of these and okay with them before roleplaying)
Kinks
These are "extra" things I'm into, but by no means are they required. I like nearly all of the basics here like oral vore, unbirth, anal, etc. But these are details or more complex things to be food for thought. This certainly isn't everything, but some examples. If you want to know more kinks or things I'm into or interested in, ask me!
As PredAs Prey
Being PredBeing Prey Always/Love
Never/Dislike It takes the right mood to make me want to play the role of prey and I have much less experience in it, while I'm nearly always up for being pred or sometimes observer.
Never/Dislike Preferred soft. "Hard" has a sorta-exception or two.
Never/Dislike ---
It can be fun implied sometimes. But I dislike even using the words "death" or "killed." I don't like to make this part of the fantasy resemble RL at all, unless it's a legit dramatic character death in an epic tale. "Death" isn't fun for me.
Never/Dislike Setting dependent. Needs advanced discussion.
Endo Always/Love
Never/Dislike YES! Especially covert endo like with bulgeless vore, or semi-bulgeless where the pred can pass as pregnant. An illicit attitude or a publicly casual one can both be fun.
Cock Vore Always/Love
Never/Dislike I really like mouths and lips, especially for kissing, but also for vore. But I particularly love inserting people or things into genitals and other fun places for some reason. Vore makes a lot of sense to me as an exaggeration of sexual desire in particular, though it definitely still feels right for other basic desires, like hunger, as well.
Never/Dislike ---
I know physics needs to give in to the fantasy somewhere, so I like at least a little stretchiness of the pred and/or squishiness of the prey. I also particularly like when the pred shows a smaller bulge than the actual size of the prey, or even no bulge at all.
---
Realistic Always/Love
+
--
+
--
Never/Dislike I'm definitely here for fantasy, and fantasy doesn't have to be "realistic." But it is also easier for me to enjoy when it's at least consistent to a setting, so that you can tell what is "realistic" to the characters, and when something fantastic to them is going on vs when "oh yah, this kind of thing happens all the time." I like both approaches to vore.
Rough Always/Love
Gentle Always/Love
+
+
--
Never/Dislike I like gentleness and affection a lot. I'm definitely a soft top as a predator, perhaps ranging to shy bottom. As prey... I'm not sure how I'd feel about roughness, but due to my PTSD I am wary. Roleplays with a story tone of "good vs evil" where the evil villain or monster is the source of the roughness, or stories where the characters enjoy roughness IC but use a safe word and sometimes show tenderness and aftercare, probably get a total pass. I actually particularly like that.
---
Sex Always/Love
+
--
+
--
Never/Dislike I really like sex, but I don't require it. I do prefer my characters to get some sexual enjoyment from vore in most circumstances though, and perhaps a lot. For special cases it can be suppressed if it is unwanted, and we talk about it in advance.
Transformation Always/Love
Never/Dislike I quite like inanimate TF into sentient intimates, or things that are intimately used and appreciated. It's a side kink of mine that I think I'm into because it carries a similar dynamic of power play and pred/prey to vore. The predator is the one changing someone into something more helpless, the prey is the one who's life is being changed (like being consumed). All of my experience with this is as a pred or observer.
Never/Dislike But I am weirdly into clean flush vore, vacuum vore, and other such object vore scenes. Full-tour to flush vore could be an interesting conclusion to other kinds of vore.
Bondage Always/Love
+
+
Never/Dislike I've warmed up to this a little as a dom, especially gentle, and/or using vore as the means. Rope and blindfolds and such are okay too. I think I might like it as a sub, but I don't know, since I haven't tried it.
Never/Dislike ---
I really like willingness and consent! Predator-prey dynamics are fine, and apprehension or even reluctance are okay depending on the circumstances. Playful (at least mostly) struggles to escape sound downright fun. But I dislike "fear for my life" stuff, see Fatality above, especially as the pred and in scenes that are supposed to be fun and light-hearted. Rape is an outright no for me, unless it is talked about in advance ooc, and probably VERY fantastical-hentai coded. 'Unwilling prisoner' scenes might be case by case.
Never/Dislike Micro/Macro and size differences can be their own fun, and also a delightful basis or aid for vorish fun. But I also particularly adore same or similarly sized vore, especially when bulgeless or with a smaller bulge than one might expect. Something tells me I might like being prey as a micro, especially to a gentle and caring pred.
Never/Dislike I the player am bisexual with a bit of a leaning towards the sapphic and to feminine features and figure. My characters will mostly share my orientation, though some may have different nuances of their own. Sometimes that even surprises me. As far as genital anatomy is concerned, I love just about any naughty parts on any gender of person, especially naughty parts that love me back!
Never/Dislike ---
Only ways I can see this:
With object vore, in the case of an animated or automated object like a toilet or vacuum, and where my partner is describing the setting and sort of DMing, rather than playing a "pred" instigator.
Or with object vore, in the case of one player setting their sights on a particularly interesting or unusual object to devour or insert, and again with the other player DMing as the events unfold.
Underage Character Always/Love
+
--
+
--
Never/Dislike This is something I can be okay with bending a bit on, this being fantasy. Motherly or care-taking endo can be okay, but my characters will either not feel sexuality from it or actively suppress such. And that's not something I'm always in the mood for.
Like as I said with rape (which RL pedophilia is) I don't want the focus of the erotic storytelling to be on this aspect. I'm okay with high-school fantasies, or with creating the feel of an anime adventure setting and the like, and I particularly enjoy them. But I prefer for the characters to be at least similarly aged in most such cases. I'm weirdly okay with family incest scenes and the taboo of that fantasy or maybe with teacher-student, as long as the youngest involved sexually are still past puberty, and the power dynamic doesn't feel ... real.
Never/Dislike I actually struggle sometimes with being too rambley. I like to put effort into describing scenes, feelings, actions, etc, and I like for my partners to do the same. It doesn't have to be a set number of words or paragraphs though. I am not fast.
Never/Dislike I enjoy playing out the "beginnings" of stories and relationships sometimes. I also enjoy playing the discovery or exploration of vore, either by the pred, the prey, or both.
But I do also enjoy playing preds for whom this is just another day in the life, that don't actually change much from a scene.
Most character development will stay confined to the story in which it occurs, with a few Potential exceptions.
