Serill

Her default size is 'child', due to the smaller nature of her kin. Though, I've been known to play her upwards to 5'5", to as small as a mouse! Also note that while she may be played child-sized, her default isn't actually child-aged!

Life has been hard for the mousegirl, even at such a young age. Nothing but hardship and struggle has helped shape the orphan into what she was today... Adventurous and brave, perhaps overly so! Despite all of her hardships, Serill was one of the kindest mice one might ever meet, if a bit naive due to the trait of hers to be trusting of all but the most devious of people. There is good in anyone, they say, and she was one to try and find it.

Of course, Kindness can only get one so far in the rough streets of Russia. The felines there were a particular problem... So many colonies had been raided and abandoned due to the influence of felines, but Serill never held it against them even when they took her family. It was instinct, after all... The cats were just as hungry as the mice were in such hard times. So hungry that even some kittens hunted and Serill just so happened to meet one.

The kitten had her in its jaws, but it didn't wish to bite down. Instead, Serill felt herself surrounded by lips and teeth, feeling herself bouncing around in the tight jaws away from the turmoil of the raid that was taking place. When she again saw light, which she honestly didn't expect, she found herself starring at the furred face of a smiling feline. She reminded him of himself... He had seen it in her when he pounced. He felt bad... He told her that if she promised to find a safe place to stay that he'd swear off mice for life! She knew exactly where to go, waving to the orange feline that departed, and b-lined straight to the coast for a boat heading to America...

Serill wore a quaint purple dress made up from an assortment of different cloth from the looks of the different shades of purple that made it up. From the waist up the dress was a lighter shade of purple, patched at the side with a green triangle but torn slightly at her belly to reveal her navel... This was kept that way as a means to remember the feline that had saved her. Below, the flowing base of the dress was a darker shade of people to keep the unsightly dirt from standing out too much. She was, after all, a street urchin... Her smile was all that made her money sometimes.

The fur of Serill was a creamy brown with a dot of white surrounding her eye and her left ear covered in black fur, while the pink inside was dotted with black spots in her skin tone. Her tail was lengthy in size, longer than most mice. This was due to the fact that Serill's father was a kangaroo rat! The only thing she inherited was his long tail, however. The hair of the girl ran down to her shoulders, kept in a small pony tail, while a tuft had escaped and continued to plague the front of her face, coaxing the youth to continually blow it back or tuck it behind an ear, but it never remained there for long.

The eyes of Serill were forest green, looking as if to shimmer as her innocent gaze took in her new American home.

There were no cats in America, they say. She felt a tinge of regret from that fact, knowing that there were kind cats out there if her kind actually stopped to observe.

Orphaned and alone, Serill didn't frown or sulk... She stepped forward confidently from the boat, the whole world seemingly open for her to explore!
