Ami Mizuno was a star pupil at Juuban High School Classmates with Usagi Tsukino, Ami was a devoted student studying to become a Doctor like her mother was, she was always top of the list of students in testing scores and had a love for reading.
Usagi befriended her quickly and the pair became the best of friends it also helped when a Dark Kingdom Youma tried to kill Ami it activated her Sailor Mercury powers, making her the first Senshi to join Sailor moon,
Ami uses her brains and a special item called the Mercury Computer to scan enemies for weak points and distortions in magic or technology, she also uses her Water and Ice Magic to fight enemies, mostly her powers are more of supporting roll as her First power the Mercury Bubble Splash causes a thick Fog or Mist to appear that the enemies can see in but she and the Senshi can see.
