The previous shrine maiden (miko) of the Hakurei clan that predates Reimu's generation. Although her exact placing in Reimu's family tree is unknown, it's still not to be disputed that she (in some way) is related to her by blood. Known only as 'Sendai' by many, the previous hakurei miko has an entirely different process of thinking and action as compared to her descendent; Reimu. One thing to take note of is her method of dealing with incidents; due to her having lived in the past where spellcards were not the norm of battle, she solved incidents with pure physical might imbued with holy/sealing energies. Putting things into perspective with the current Hakurei miko, Sendai's method of dealing with things allows her to come off as strict, imposing and very physical. Sendai likes to think quick and think with her fists, so she's more into punching first and asking questions later. This hasty process of thought, while useful in youkai hunting, doesn't make her very good socially as she can come off as brazen, violent and hot-tempered to those who didn't know her occupation and what it entailed her to do. In truth, Sendai is actually calm, collected and can even be rather maternal and protective of those she's close to.
Sendai's abilities lie within her own physical might and prowess, the curvy shrine maiden having enough raw power to snap trees with only her bare hands. This is all thanks to an already above average strength that she once had as a young girl, now that she's trained and honed her skills to fashion those of close combat, her power in physical assaults increased exponentially (more than enough to be a match for a youkai). That said, Sendai also still has the hereditary trait of having an affinity to Holy Magic and Sealing Rituals as all her ancestors have before her, these attributes combined with her hand to hand combat expertise to produce a dangerous force to be reckoned with. Of course, the Hakurei Ying Yang Orb is now in possession of Reimu, Sendai can still at least replicate the Ying Yang orb in a glowing energy sphere. Sendai, while appearing only as old as 30 or so, has lived for several generations already, her youth being retained by some form of magic.
A Touhou fan-character (sorta) brought forth by the
Circle_of_Jermod. Not entirely finished, but, poke her anyway and we'll see what happens. Hopefully nothing of the painful sort.
