It certainly seems so!
Sen was a superb student at Signal Academy, some would argue one of the best. It came as a shock to pretty much everyone when he was denied acceptance into Beacon. He never really recovered from it. He's been jumping from job to job, trying to make ends meet. He's currently a personal bodyguard, which seems to at least provide enough money to get by.
Sen's weapon of choice is an Aura Manipulation and Projection Staff, or AMPS, a weapon that is powered by both Dust and the user's Aura to project powerful elemental energy blasts. The drawback to this is while active, the user cannot use their Aura for anything else, making them a sort of "Glass Cannon".
