Selti

Around Limsa Lominsa, you’d be hard pressed to find any regular adventurer who hasn’t heard of Selti Rahlah. The young miqo’te conjurer may not be strong, or gifted, or particularly notorious, but her eagerness and dedication has helped to win over many a cold heart. The daughter of Lominsan warrior, mercenary captain Cana, and Sharlayan sage Rahlah, Selti was surrounded by adventure from the moment she was born. Always moving from one city to the other, traveling the length and breadth of Eorzea (though she doesn’t remember much of it now), until finally, when she turned 5, they settled down in Limsa. She absolutely adores her parents, even when some trips would leave her at home for a few weeks at a time, she cherished every little gift they brought back, from pieces of monster bone to claws, pieces of armor, broken artifacts. The guild became something like a second home, and all the adventurers her family.

So when her parents went off again to deal with voidsent infested ruins, she didn’t even worry. After all, they’re the strongest people she knows! One week went by, then two, three, a whole month. After a few months and no less than the whole of the guild sending out search parties, the two haven’t been seen even 2 years later. Still, Selti’s convinced they’re out there, looking to bring her home the coolest treasure she’s ever seen.

To help fund her own search, and to start the life of excitement she’s always wanted, Selti’s become an adventurer on her own, using the magic she learned from her father to work as a conjurer, helping to fight monsters, clear dungeons, and save people! Though it’s not always easy, especially for one still young, she does her best to keep smiling. With a bubbly, if airheaded, personality, she’s a much needed light in the dim gloom of the dungeon.

Standing at 3’9” tall, she’s a tad on the short side for her age. With ruby red hair, mismatched emerald and aquamarine eyes, and pearl white fangs, the only ‘smudges’ on her face are a set of freckles, and a small cut across her left cheek, where she caught the edge of a blade during her first ever actual combat encounter. She absolutely refused to heal herself with magic from it, lest she lose her ‘mark’ as a true adventurer. Normally she keeps her hair short, but well kept, tied up in a high side ponytail to keep it out of the way.
