Ven is the son of Aphrodite the Greek goddess of love. His entire purpose is to have sex with women or risk losing immortality. If he is denied of his desires, Ven will get violently emotional until he calms down. He will need to have sex in order to survive even if Ven would regret doing so. This is of course what his mother forced him to do. Aphrodite has never really been a good mother to Ven and would only see her son as a failure if Ven is unable to have sex. If he couldn't do it for a year, Aphrodite will eat and digest Ven.

But one night, Ven had enough of being abused and took a stand against his evil mother. But he remembers how terrifying she can be when she's mad. The angel fled into a dark forest where Aphrodite cornered him. But it was a trap. With the help of Lina, Ven was finally set free after watching his mother be devoured whole and digested by the woman who saved him.

Ven can now have sex on his own accord since that is the natural course of an angel to live. However, Ven decided to live with Lina to whom he fell in love with. His heart wouldn't stop beating hard whenever he thinks about her, that he needed to give something in return. Then one day, Ven and Lina got married and he was a happiest angel in the world. He even allows his newly wedded wife to eat him frequently, after a witch agreed to have Ven drink a potion that protects him from digestion. It was the perfect wedding present.
