The woman you see before you is Empress Tyila. She's found herself at the top of an empire of monsterkin. Though her world is not what you expect. Her world is mostly creatures of fantasy, from elves to centuar, angels to demon, slimes to harpies and everything in between. Demi, Anthros, and even some ferals too! Now, you might be wondering where Humans fit in, in all of these races. That's simple.
At the bottom.
Most humans on planet Sedrerth have been subjugated and enslaved. It wasn't always like this, but conflicts eventually arose which lead to the world as it stands today. Most monsterkin honestly feel the humans brought it on themselves, but talking about such now isn't important. Slavery of humans is considered a norm now, even has a healthy slave trade going. Monsterkin are charged with making sure to care for their humans as best they can, if they can't, in most cases they simply sell them to the slave traders again. Or the humans are eaten if they aren't sold. Humans are but two things in Sedrerth. Labor and food.
Have there been any rebellions? Yeah, though it didn't end well for both sides. Humans had it worse in the end however. Two hundred years ago the humans tried to rise up against the monsterkin. Lots of skirmishes broke out, there was a lot of damage in most city centers. This triggered what soon came to be know as "The Great Feast." The acting leader at the time of the empire, temporarily rescinded the rules and regulations over the eating of the slave human population. Humans were devoured in the hundreds, their morale plummeted, eventually ending the rebellion. After the rebellion stopped, the eating continued for a few more days.
"Demi's" are more civilized compared to the "Anthros", which mostly reside in tribes in the wilds. Not to say they aren't civilized, just slower to adapt in most cases. Civilized Anthros are out there, but seems rare compared to the demi counter parts. The main difference is in how the humans are treated if they are captured by the Anthro populace. Under a Demi monsterkin, Humans can slightly improve their situation. In an Anthro camp, no such luck. Humans are often kept around till they aren't very helpful anymore, then are simply eaten and digested. Something the Empress doesn't like, but if it keeps the peace, she'll tolerate it.
A member of any race can choose to become a slaver, and any race can buy from a slaver. Slavers have to by very patient with their job, as they have to keep their numbers up to be able to keep selling for their stocks. Slavers are also in charge of the training the humans get before they reach an old enough age to be openly solid on the market. This age is often around 10 or so. Slavers often eat any slaves that become too disobedient or become unfit to be slaves.
Races differ from region to region, but all monsterkin see humans as things to be owned. I mentioned how there are demons and angels in this world. Some things to note are that normally, there is a language barrier between those above and those below. The "normal" plane speaks a number of langauges, mostly "Common." Demons speak Abyssal, and Angels speak Celestial, as their first language. When humans began their time as a slave race, the demons loved the thought of it. The Angels didn't, though there wasn't too much to do about it. Over the centuries, more and more things happened to the enslaved humans, it made the heavenly folk more and more irritable. Eventually one Angel gave this human slavery a try, it didn't feel all that bad. The angel eventually had a friend to try....then another....then another. This continued until some generations before the Great Feast, the angels came to like having the humans as slaves, or having servants in general maybe. The consensus on the humans' slavery in Heaven became as this decree says: "The Humans had been rather big troublemakers, eventually the other races got tired of their rudeness. Constant competing with elves, lots of fighting between the humans and orcs, hunting of centaurs, to name a few. In which lead us to the world today, a world where humans have no rights, only seen as things to be used. Humans now cause far less trouble, some of the other races are getting along better because of it. The Elves have peace in their homeland, the Orc tribes were able to band together and form cities. Even those in Hell have kept their focus on the humans since no one tries to stop them from abusing the humans, them leaving the other races alone almost altogether. Far less conflict the world over, and far less trouble from those below. In conclusion, We believe the world is a much better place with the humans as a slave race. We in Heaven now openly support the full enslavement on the human race. We above now openly wish partake in the slavery of humans, we also wish to help in bringing about the human race's full enslavement. May the day when all of humanity lays in chains and bowing to their greaters come swiftly." Finally, here the humans' fates were sealed. Those in the Mortal plane, Hell, and now even Heaven came to agree that humans were best as not but slaves for all other races.
At the world stands, a grand majority of humanity lays captured and enslaved by the monster populace. A massive 93% of the humans are controlled, either in the hands of a monsterkin slaver or as owned property of some other monsterkin. The other 7% are considered "wild humans." Monsterkin scholars believe that some time within the next 150 years, there could be no such thing as a "wild humans." The monsterkin have many, many raider groups tasked with hunting down the remaining humans and placing them in irons. During a raid, some humans try to keep the monsterkin off. After the skirmishes between the humans and the monsterkin, the humans that fought back are all often eaten and digested without question. Humans that resist are not but food to the other races. Those they are protecting are placed in chains or rope while they are evaluated by the Raider group of monsters. Then they are bound and placed in something to move them so they can be sold to a slaver. Whether it's bound in a line and forced to walk. Placed is sack and put into a cart. A cage on wheels. This part is of the Raider group's preference on the matter. Upon being sold to a slaver, the humans begin getting broken by the slaver over the course of the coming months. Those who don't break are eaten as example to the other humans. Their existence is a simple one, obey or digest. A Slaver's job has a lot of work to do, but it pays very well. The humans that are born by a owned human, are immeidately placed under the Master's ownership. Slavers often have the human's breed to keep their numbers up, a slaver with no human to sell makes no money! The slaver must train and raise the humans to be sold when they are able to work. After being bought by a monster, the human is expected to obey them without question. Any punishments are dealt out by the Master's wanting. Being from something simple to the monster digesting the misbehaving human.
Modern Age:
In "Modern" times, the human races has been in it's position for well over 700 years or so. Humans are completely under the control of the various monster races now and have even been domesticated, the race having been made mostly docile over the centuries. The days of "slavers" are gone in the normal sense. Humans are now under Breeders, folks that care and raise humans to be in their accepted roles in society. Their roles are the simple slave labor in various jobs, though certainly not in the numbers they use to be. Sextoy humans are still common places, sex stil sells, as well as the practice of raising some humans to be large and filling meals. But the biggest new role humans have are actually housepets! While this still functions like slavery, humans are normally treated decent well by their masters. It's very common to see a human getting lead around by a leash of some monster. Outside this, the age of rebellions is over as the monsterfolk had long weeded out any real ability for humans to fight back, as well as the monsterfolk educating humans that this was a good outcome for their races.
TL:DR - Setting with Humans near completely enslaved by monsterkin, both demi and anthro. I'm willing to play more then just Tyila. I'll be whatever race you want. Meant for interaction between the varies monsterkin and their human slaves.
World Events:
Orphani was sold by Maya after they devoured his mother for trying to protect him. He was then later sold to a Demoness named Lamya to be trained up as a sex slave.
Charity Using alternate reality version of the woman, Charity was one of many humans caught during a raid on a human hideout. After being trained for some time by Maya, Charity was bought by a demoness named Melania Laska. Brought as a present to her husband, a fire demon named Lonan von Brendt, Charity resists at first but eventually submits as a sex slave to the demons, powerless to stop them at all.
Kuroa_Lotus became a fledlging slaver, once a bounty hunter, the dark elf uses her skills to capture her own humans to then train and sell for herself. Doesn't have a big place like Maya or Ling Wen, but she does have her first few frequent customers already.
Permanent Setting Characters (Made through RPs):
Maya is a elven slaver. She prefers to train humans for sex and labor. She has eaten a few humans herself for disobedience, and some because she wanted to. Also has a Son named Sylas who is training to take over when his mother eventually retires.
Lamya is a demoness, one of Maya's best customers. Runs a plantation with two dozen slaves. Has a few boys around to be used as sex slaves.
Ling Wen was a pirate, but upon claiming a human vessel trying to hide at sea, she became a sea fairing slaver. Has on occassion tossed a human into the water to feed the merkin that sometimes follow her ship.
Miusagi is a young boy who was given a special gift for his birthday. He sure uses his "gift" a lot! As do some of his friends!
Gina is the leader of a raiding group know as the Rapiers, semi-widely known as they do a lot of traveling hunting down wild humans.
Gethin is one of the few vampires on Sedrerth, lives with a small portion of his family in one of the still standing human castles.
And a bunch of human slaves, but they don't matter, sense humans aren't worth all that much!
