Karoline is called many things, but most call her the Scion of Light, or the Heroine of destiny, or a variety of different titles in different tongues. A young lady raised as a peasant in a rural farming village full of sheep and sheepgirls/sheepboys, she had no idea she had a sister, brother, mother, and an entire royal lineage dating back centuries and was the de-facto heiress to the entire Kingdom of Voncordia. It was a beautiful peaceful kingdom with no longstanding grudges with her neighbors when war and destruction struck the land, driving the pacifist girl to leave behind the flour mills and fields and take up the sword. The prophecy handed down was that it was she, the lost heiress, would be the heroine who would save the kingdom and continent beyond. Thus she embarked on a legendary quest under a royal knight to reclaim the legendary sword, The Myrkelhauer, and restore the order of dignity, justice, and goodness. Worshipped by the lower classes, and begrudgingly accepted by the nobility for her lineage, she is the string that holds the unstable world structure together.

While extra loving and doting with her family, she has a strict image to uphold and does her best, even if she has no interest in fighting, ruling, or being a divine-sent savior. As a heroine of legend her personality is about on par with what one might expect. She is incredibly humble and forgiving (to a fault), values others over herself(to a fault), is incredibly determined to fight to the end in the face of certain defeat(to a fault, and is incredibly trusting and almost comically gullible(again, to a fault). What you probably didn't expect is that she is... actually a hopeless romantic who crushes on the cutest of people, but would never be first to admit it out of a selfless concern of making rifts or awkwardness between her and her allies. What you ALSO probably didn't expect is that she has aspirations to become a wife and mother and eventually leave the hero business behind once the evils of the world are banished.
