Vectors are more or less genetically modified beings, specializing through a variety of drugs and medicines which improve certain qualities. Scalpel, in this respect, is entirely geared towards two things: Medical treatments from First Aid to open heart surgery to being a therapist, as well as several adjustments to make her memory able to store and catalog new information extremely quickly. Simply put, the entire purpose of it is to make her into one of the best doctors possible, able to recognise what is needed and repeat previously seen procedures flawlessly. However, this does transfer outside of work. Scalpel is what we'd call OCD, more or less. It is not that she has to do certain things at the exact same time, it is that she has to do a certain task in the exact same way at every time, and to have the tools for the job in the exact same position every day, within reason. For example, she can do the same operation on different patients, but the procedure must be performed the exact same way. She has her scalpels and towels and everything with her name on them so they aren't touched.

Vectors also have a bit of an issue. As they were originally designed as servants for humanity, they do have a susceptability to specifically human voices. They find the tones hypnotic, and it's extremely hard to resist anything that they are asked to do. Demi-humans like harpies and neko even have this kind of effect, though its potency will be severely reduced.

Scalpel is an oddball. In addition to her essential OCD, she isn't the most social type. She flounders in conversation and misspeaks often, though she normally keeps relatively calm and corrects herself, liable to mess up a few times before she gets it right. She's reserved, but not anti-social. She's just not good at talking or expressing, is all.
