Sayumi_Joutei

Sayumi is a teenage trainer out on her very first pokemon Journey. Being from a small town she didn't have a lab to get a starter from and had to go out into the wilds and find a pokemon herself with a handfull of pokeballs... Much to her surprise one of the first pokemon she came across was a Milotic-Naga basking in a lake. The milotic gave a very lazy aura and one of wanting to be left alone, though Sayumi being eager, ignored that, and tossed several pokeballs at her, the Milotic eventually deciding to "let" the human win and catch her. Confused about typing and believing Milotic an Water/ice pokemon she named her Aurora, even after finding out, the name stuck.

Sayumi is an energetic and Naive girl, living the sheltered rural life of a small town without wide-rangeing access to the internet or even sattlite TV, she grew up with parents who worked on a watermill and bakery, making bread and various other pastries for people fresh. The town only had a small poke-centre and no "Mart", pokeballs and potions were sold at a stall by the pokecentre once a month when a trader came through. The last time it came around she bought 5 pokeballs, and decided to head out. She wrote her parents a goodbye note and left, not wanting to have them try and stop her.

She likes to cook, part of how she was raised, Sayumi also likes to paint and draw, as well as write. Keeping a note book on her, especially until she can get a hold of a pokedex. She knows remarkably little about pokemon beyond the basics, but is eager to learn. She is most interested in wining competitions, rather than battling, but stil is interested in it. It's quite hard to do sinze her first, and currently only, pokemon is incredibly lazy... Aurora only seems to take interest in things if it's mealtime, naptime or get-Sayumi-out-of-trouble time. The last happens rather frequently...

She knows even less about Demis and Anthros then pokemon, meaning absolutely nothing. Often confusing them for pokemon...

Sayumi loves snake pokemon, bunny types and humanoids. She also thinks steel and psychics are cool. Top on her lsit to catch are a Ralts, Magnamite, Ekans and Lilligant!
