Sapphire never knew her parents. She was told that she was simply left on the doorstep of an orphanage one day in a basket with a small card that had her name on it. Growing up wasn't exactly easy but it wasn't difficult either. For seven years she called the walls of the Imai orphanage home until she bumped into an older woman on her way home from school one day.

That encounter would be the beginning of her new life. A simple conversation came of that chance meeting with the woman which in turn led to Sapphire learning that the woman she bumped into did not live far from the orphanage. It would also lead to a new path in life that she never thought about until now: adoption.

Sometimes great journeys have simple beginnings and Sapphire's was no different. Over time the woman revealed herself to be something of a magician with the ability to travel to other worlds, even those of fiction. A weekend journey to the world of her favorite manga at the time was enough to convince her that this woman had a very special power. A power that woman would eventually train her on how to use.

Over the years Sapphire has journeyed to many worlds. Many were similar to her own while others were vastly different. Of course her destinations were not limited to just the world of manga and anime but that also included video games too for better or worse. So it's not uncommon for Sapphire to pick up a trinket or skill from the worlds she visits. At some point that also included eating other people but oddly enough...her master showed her that one thinking it would be interesting to see Sapphire eat someone.

Sapphire goes by "Phii" (pronounced Fee, not Fi) and may or may not have a thing for working out/training.
