"Oh, gosh... You're interested in a silly old goat like me?~"
Samantha Harper Kidd is a kind, motherly goat woman in her forties. Mother of 12 and a part-time telereceptionist, she lives a comfortable life in her middle age where she is allowed to do basically whatever she wants. Her husband's life insurance policy made for a great investment afterall, and it really helped her back when her kids were still living at home. But let's step back, back into her past a bit. What are the origins of this kindly Scottish goat woman?
Well, it all started when a couple of Scottish saytyrs immigrated to the Nexus and started a family. They weren't especially well off, but the two made things work for themselves and their only daughter, Samantha. She went to a fairly poor public school, but that was alright with her. She wasn't the smartest, but she was good at nurturing... Both due to her personality and her stature. Yes, even as a child Sammy was on the larger side. not often then a 6th grader is 7 feet tall, but it really helped her to stand out and encourage others. She got fairly low grades, but she was a solid C student that never failed, but only rarely succeeded in topics. She did quite well in the few shop classes offered by the school however, sewing cooking baking... Even stuff like woodworking would come easy to her. She was better with her hands then her brain, but she was hardly stupid. In high school, she would meet a fellow goat. He was... Considerably smaller then her, of course, with the girl now reaching past 8 feet tall in freshman year. But height didn't bother either of em, she could constantly adjust her clothing as she got bigger and just make new ones if there simply wasn't enough material. Her boyfriend was stout, had a bit of a cute face, but he was a hard worker. It was a little after they graduated before they got married and... "Went to work" if you will.
Her darling hubby, Luca, would get a job in construction. He worked long hours, but he was good at both the manual part at the machine-operation part. It wasn't long before the two got the news that Sammy was pregnant, which they were very excited about. They put in a down-payment for a house, with Luca bringing in decent money from his job and Sammy making a little extra on the side to help pay for groceries and whatnot with little craft projects and bake sales. Of course, once they learned she was lregnant with triplets, they did get a little nervous... But nonetheless, they simply buckled down. Sammy began a small farm out in their garden, allowing them to save on food costs. Luca successfully talked his company into helping them get a well, which meant they only used public water for showers or the occasional bath. Then came the due date, Luca got a bit of time off of work to tend the garden and care for his family while Sammy was recovering. Life was a little tough from there, but they soon slipped into the role easily enough. Of course... They just couldn't help themselves, and Sammy was soon pregnant again. This time it was with twins, but compared to their first batch of kids it was a breath of fresh air. Life was good, family was growing, kids came two or three at a time until the beautiful couple was only 24 with 12 kids. It was around there that they decided to stop having kids. The little male goat got his tubes tied, not wanting any more mouths to feed.
Life went on, the kids grew up, Sammy and Luca would go on a few vacations over the years and make wonderful memories with their kids. The kids, nine girls and three boys, would help pitch in money as they got older. Sammy taught them all how to do stuff around the house, and Luca would help get em various internships to help them get job experience early. Sadly, when their oldests were 16, Luca would vanish one day. He'd eventually be confirmed dead, attacked and devoured by some predator or another with his reformation chip broken beyond repair. A PI did help Sammy to take revenge, in a... Delicious manner. Regardless, she had to keep a smile up for her children. She helped them through their grief, and each of them would graduate and move out, keeping in touch even as they moved on to different things. Her youngest duo of kids would say goodbye as well, leaving her alone in her house to do what she wanted. Since then, she's started going to the gym, got a library membership, and volunteers at the soup kitchen to fill her time. She has started putting herself back out there for dating however, so who knows... At 45, could she really hope to find love again?
