A long time ago, during the Dreamtime, there was the Rainbow Serpent...
Salmon Elyar is a wondrous manifestation of the Rainbow Serpent, who decided to take a more palpable form after some tourists from Ayers Rock met up with it. Due to a casual mix up, the Rainbow Serpent spied a discarded can of Salmon the tourists left behind and promptly gulped it down greedily...

The special properties of the salmon caused some strange mutations in the Rainbow Serpent, and when it woke up it was a nagaling. As a Naga, Salmon had white hair, a youthful face and rocky rainbow scales. Due to it's amnesia the Rainbow Naga looked at the Salmon can and decided that was to be it's new name. Like the traditional deity, Salmon often partakes in a ritual where she likes to gulp down males in order to 'cleanse' them and she is considered to be a healer as she is a known practitioner of traditional medicine. She likes to turn those she punish into stone.

Salmon also likes to be charmed in her spare time, by flutes and can also transform others into any animal she chooses. Salmon's other trait is speaking in the third-person, being a deity she feels entitled to speak that way
