Sakira is no ordinary Shrine Maiden. Twenty years ago she served a shrine together with six other maidens. An old shrine that has been in the village for several generations and was hoped to stay for generations to come, however this did not happen as an unfortunate event ended with the shrine being burnt to the ground by the same villagers they had protected and helped. The maidens inside knew nothing about the plan of burning down the shrine and were taken by surprise, the door was blocked and there were no way out, all of them were killed by the fire, the remains dumped into a hole like scum of the Earth.
This was not taken lightly, Sakira was a survivor of the fire with severe burns, the villagers did not care and dumped her with the others, leaving her to die in the hole with her fellow burned and dead Shrine Maidens. Her hatred for the villagers grew as she slowly died away, and in the end the girl would stay alive forever, at least almost alive, she is a spirit seeking vengeance to the villagers. The village has changed since the time this happened, and the young Shrine Maiden has not forgotten her goal, the village is now a rather busy city, the old remains of the burned shrine has however been preserved by the city council, still haunted by the girl's spirit, but now she has gotten tired of waiting, she is going on the offensive to take revenge, capturing young girls and boys from their families and devouring them, not whole of course but she turns them smaller and eats them like lunch. How is this possible if she is a spirit is a mystery, but it seems she can become physical with the victims of her kidnappings, and surprisingly enough she does not devour their souls, only the body itself to let the souls of the ones eaten to wander the Earth in pain.
Her ways of kidnapping children and young adults is easy, she wanders the streets looking like a natural young Shrine Maiden, as she hasn't changed for the past twenty years and still looks like her own young self. She lures them to a more empty area before using her charms to shrink them and easily carry them to the shrine, whilst burning burnt down it still has areas that looks like they were never touched, and she uses that as her own home, proceeding with her maiden duties like she did before. She is also fully able to change her own size should she want to bring doom upon the whole city, though the possibility of this happening is low, she'd had to snap completely to do this. The young girl might be mentally ill and angered but she hasn't gone completely insane yet.
