Saito_Tatsuo

Proud, calm, and calculating, Saito is not a man that many would enjoy to have as an enemy. As an esteemed member of the infamous Japanese yakuza, he has a litany of thugs and resources at his fingertips that allow him to live in the ultimate lap of luxury, and can be away with any unwanted distractions simply with the wave of a hand. While most yakuza are known for prowling the streets and using force to knock their adversaries down a peg, Saito does not waste his time with going out and finding his foes. When people cross Saito, his goons are quick to pluck the aforementioned fools from the streets, delivering them directly to his office where he may discipline them personally. Because murder is highly frowned upon in his line of work, it is very rare that he goes to such extreme lengths to be rid of unwanted individuals, but he has a reputation for getting dangerously close to crossing the line. He takes much pride in making examples of people through a variety of mental and physical methods of torture, and it is rumored that the only ones to ever see him smile are his victims... once they begin to beg for their lives.

He has a very strict and almost militaristic personality, deeply embedded in the traditional values of the yakuza. He has a hyper-inflated ideal of honor and loyalty, and an obvious lean towards using violence to establish his own power through fear. Saito is quick to bend to the will of anyone who is higher up than he is, but has absolutely no respect whatsoever to those he perceives to be below him- a sort of 'all or nothing' view on how he gives his respect. Of course, he does allow himself to loosen up when he is one-on-one with individuals that deserve a lesson in obedience, which only serves to make him more dangerous and intimidating during such intimate moments; he is not always afraid to bend his own self-appointed rules to get what he wants.
