From a broken home to a caring one

From birth Sabrina was always different. She was able to move things with her mind and read the mind of others. For the most she kept this a secret from the world and her family. She was afraid to see what would happen if they discovered she had powers. She was actually able to keep this a secret until she was fourteen, that is when everything went wrong though. After a stressful day at school her powers went berserk. Before she knew it her desk was out the window and she sent her bed through the wall, the cat now seemed to be out of the bag. Her parents rushed into her room and Sabrina told them everything. Her parents promised her it would be fine, nothing was going to change, they would keep this between them. But then she read their minds...and what she saw was nothing as they said.

"Oh God, out daughter is a freak, we need to send her away."
"We can send her to doctors or scientists! This can never get out!"

This and so much more is what she heard. Sabrina didn't know what to do, she couldn't stay here. She didn't know what would happen to her, but she assumed it would not be good. What if someone did get a hold of her? She was different, she could be locked away for years as some test subject, she could not allow that to happen. That same night Sabrina ran away, and she never looked back.

She wandered the city for days doing what she could to get by. She would snatch food from local markets and even trick hotel clerks to give her a free room for the night, nothing terrible, but lucky for her, her powers made it rather easy for her to survive on her own. Though her luck would be turned around when she ran into someone just like herself on the streets. A young man who claimed to be like her, a psychic and he had sensed Sabrina for quite some time and had been looking for her. After the two talked for hours he finally convinced her to stop by his house. He claimed it was a private complex for people of their kind. People with special abilities that normal humans did not know about.

Of course she thought this was too good too be true, but she went to investigate. And to her surprise there was a haven for her in the city. An apartment complex for the rich and famous, but it was nothing more than a front. The ones who lived here were just like Sabrina, they could all do inhuman things and needed somewhere to live to be away from everything. The best part? Everything was free of charge. The ones who owned took care of all the expenses, in hopes that this place would provide a new family for runaways with nowhere to go.

This was her new home now. Sabrina lives on the ninth floor and has a perfect view of the city from her room, and even better she doesn't have a roommate, she has the vast room to herself. This was her new life now, time to make a new family and friends. She still goes to school like any normal girl but no one knows what she can really do, and of course here she can now train with others how to control her powers, she no longer has to be afraid of herself.


Personality and Quirks

For the most part before she began her new life Sabrina was excluded for most of her life. Many children thought she was weird and she had issues making friends. Meaning she put a front, she pretended not too care about others and was always mean to them when they approached. She also has a nasty habit of reading a persons mind and beginning to exploit their insecurities. Though she does this just to protect herself. Even though that time has passed in her life she still falls on it as a crutch, even if she doesn't mean too. But for the most part she apologies moments after she says or does something rude.

She has a big heart just a rough past, with no real family to cling too she gets jealous rather quickly when someone mentions their own family, she even grows distant and seems to space out, the entire topic actually makes her rather comfortable. If she does take a liking to someone she has been known to be clingy. She doesn't like to share people and doesn't understand the concept that you can be with others along with her. She is a sweet girl none the less, she tends to go out of her way to help people even if she is a bit blunt and rude about it. And she tries to make it a rule not to reads peoples mind unless it has to be done....that being said, she reads the minds of others all the time.

Don't let her age and looks fool you. Sabrina is a very powerful psychic, and when angered she can become a threat. Her powers include everything from opening rifts, destroying someone from the inside out, all the way to shrinking others down to the size of an ant. Though she is not quite sadistic she will kill someone if it is necessary. Be it to protect herself, her friends, or her home. That being said she is also quite the tease. If someone upsets her or irritates her she may shrink them just to play with them and "get them back." She loves to play cat and mouse with others and simply tease and toy with them, step on them a bit, or even stick them in her belly button. Of course she won't bring you any real harm unless she sees you as a threat.

So the girl is a little rough around the edges. But if you can past some of her quirks she can be a delight to be around and even make one great friend. Those who see her for she truly is, she will never let them go.

Three years have passed since she left home, Sabrina is now 17 years old.

Her favorite time of the day is dusk.

Give her a foot massage and she may take a liking to you.

Be willing to shrink and trapped in her shoe, and she will like you even more.

She is inspiring cook! Though she is not very good.

If she invites you to her room after dark she'll probably ask you to spend the night.
