Name: Sa-Khani

Personality profile: Generally friendly and peaceable,
trustworthy and dependable. Merciless if angered.

Personal History: Sa-Khani hails from a race of folk
known as the Canisae, an extremely warlike and
militaristic species of pseudo-canids. Khani was, back
when he was still on his homeworld, known as
Ila-Khani.... Weak, unwilling to fight. Fighting has
always left a bad taste in his mouth, and when the time
finally came that he was forced into a fight, he refused
to fight back.... The next day, he renounced his status
as a citizen of his homeworld, and began his travels.
This marks him as Sa, an exile by choice.... Funnily
enough, his people respect him more now, for working
up the courage to leave.

After working as a courier for a few years, Sa-Khani's
ship was critically damaged in an asteroid field.... Before
he perished, however, he was found by ships from a nearby
station. After seven months of life on this station, it came
under attack and was destroyed. He escaped on a personal
cruiser with one other survivor, just before the station
exploded entirely.... The only two who made it.


Useful skills include knowledge of the working of ships,
excellent aim with onboard weaponry, basic knowledge of
repair and maintenance, and skilled piloting. On ground
he's fairly good at hand-to-hand, and interestingly enough,
is a fairly good cook.

It is extremely difficult to sneak up on one of the Canisae,
even with the aid of technologies such as cloaking devices or
active camouflage. Their senses are honed to a nearly
supernatural level, resulting in them being able to 'see' things
that should be invisible.

Canisae weaponry for people, rather than ships, is surprisingly
primitive in appearance. Swords, crossbows, that sort of thing
... But don't be fooled. The weapons are made of a metal only
found on their planet, that is both incredibly hard, and
immensely strong. Sa-Khani himself wields a long-bladed
sword if forced into melee combat, that slices through normal
steel as if it were butter.
