Stillwater High Cheerleading Squad

The Stillwater High Cheerleading Squad is very much like any other one. They go to sports, and sometimes other events, to cheer for school teams or players. Many of the members are very popular in the school as well. Anything from baseball games, to organizing school picnics, they are usually involved, if not running it. Even most unofficial parties are run by the cheerleading squad, who have a reputation for throwing the best bashes in town.

It's no secret in the school that the Cheerleading Squad is very prone to preferring the fairer sex. It is rare that someone in the squad isn't dating a fellow cheerleader. To the dismay of the male athletes, the cute cheerleaders cheering for them are more likely to go out with each other then them.

A large variety of girls join the Cheerleading Squad. Typically they tend to be nice, save for the occasional mean girl who joins the squad. Over the years, the Still Water High Cheerleading squad has lost more then it's fair share of members. Most of these date back to about 50 years ago, when the entire student body mysteriously vanished. Every since then, joining the squad has been considered something only slightly less dangerous then trying to tackle a moving train head on.

The school has tried everything it could to protect it's cheerleaders. They tried disbanding the group, which on only resulted in an even larger loss of students. Extra control and lockdown of the cheerleaders had the whole squad vanish mysteriously at the same time, four times over. In the end, it seemed that the only thing that really helped was letting the cheerleaders do what ever they thought best.

Being a cheerleader at SWH has become something of a badge of pride, in just still being alive. Every year girls try out en mass to prove that they have what it takes to join the squad. The cheerleaders get a lot of benefits just in hopes that something will result in the school only loosing a few members that year. After 50 years of hopeless disappearance cases, the police barely even try anymore when one of them goes missing. Really, at this point, only the Squad itself seems to be interested in why it's members seem to be lost forever.

It should be noted, that at least cannon wise, death is not a certainty for joining the Squad. They would have almost an impossible time finding new members if that was the case. On average, four or five members vanish a year. The Squad normally having about five to eight members in it. Sometimes there are bad years where the squad has to be replaced entirely a few times over, but that's pretty rare.

Concept



Despite the story I have surrounding them, if you want just a cheerleader in a normal high school setting, I tend to be up for that too. How this profile basically works, is that when a cheerleader dies, she's gone for good, never to be played again. Most of the time characters will be custom made for the RP they are in, though surviving ones will pop up again. In an odd way, this is a growing character. Not so much with the individuals, since fatality rates tend to be high, but with the Squad as a whole. While not every RP, even ones that take the Squad through radical changes, will be counted. There will be effects depending on how the RPs go.
