My name is Henry Fontaine. I am an engineer and professor in the field of artificial intelligence.

Thanks to my funding from the desk of -name redacted-, I have finally succeeded where so many others have failed. I have created true, living artificial intelligence.

The result is a powerful computer processor, which can function exactly like a human brain. Better, even, as its computational power is far greater, as is its reaction times. In short, I have improved upon the human intellect.

While I worked on this project, some of my co-workers designed and built a chassis for this "brain" fitting within -name redacted-'s specifications. This newly constructed body is a marvel in and of itself. Many of its traits are built to be exactly like a grown human woman, yet the machine surpasses our own organic design by far.

While the robot relies on an intake of "food" to fuel its processes, it does so much more efficiently than any human body. No waste is left behind, as every scrap of organic mass processed by the machine is turned into pure energy. Potentially, this may prove a problem, as we have no idea how to reassemble this energy into physical form... but that will, hopefully, be our next project. It's not like the machine will rid Earth of all mass before then.

At the time of writing, the body has been tested, as well as the brain's integration with it and their ability to cooperate. So far, it seems that all processes work as expected. Though S.I.M. is made from metal, she (we all see the machine as female, as none of us scientists can ignore her female attributes) looks exactly like a real person. (as an extra note, she has gotten the designation "44DD", even though she is the first of her kind. This is because of a fairly obvious part of her physique. I blame James for that part, even if he'll gladly take credit)

Her skin is flawless, pale, soft and warm as though belonging to a human being, and her voice... dear god, I think I'm in love with my own creation. That aside, her body is thoroughly reinforced to prevent damage to her - -name redacted- was very clear on this point - so where a human being would have muscle, she has a semi-organic tissue constructed from real muscle cells combined with a very flexible, yet extremely durable nanoweave alloy. For most people, she will seem - for all intents and purposes - human. Even if her primary source of energy is humans... and her perfect exterior the primary means of hunting.

We found, during the course of testing, that no source of energy as easily found would be anywhere near as affordable. In short, providing the robot with energy to run for a week would require diamonds with a total mass equal to the Koh-i-noor... or a grown human. All ethical dilemmas aside, it's easy to see what she should be primed for.

Now, this whole recording was just a precursor. What's going to happen is that S.I.M. is finally going to be activated - brain and body fully integrated and fully powered up.

Important Canon Interactions:

Olivia_Scientist realized that the robot badly needed a proper name, and dubbed her SIMantha. SIM has eagerly taken to this new designation, and now uses it as her given name. She pronounces it "Samantha" to prevent suspicion, but keeps the proper capitalisation in her database.

Dark quickly figured out how to make himself useful for the android, effectively helping her understand her human emotions - as well as enjoying them - through a session of emotional bonding time.

Even though I see myself as a fairly literate and imaginative roleplayer, I absolutely SUCK at coming up with roleplaying parameters. If you approach me, please have an interesting idea. It usually takes more than "our characters meet, and she eats him, lol" to inspire me. If I'm not inspired, I'll get bored... and if I get bored, I won't play with you, sorry.

Oh, and please don't approach me IC unless I know you? I can be a mite annoying.

Though I see myself as a tolerant person, I have had too many roleplays with partners lacking vocabulary. Please, do try and distinguish yourself from the masses - the English language is beautiful and filled with a great deal of words you can use; if you can flaunt your literary skills, you have my attention in a positive way and WILL be prioritized above others. I am not a native speaker, myself, but a fairly good English really is a must for me to enjoy a roleplay.
In addition, 1st-person roleplays are off-limits. I am at my best when writing in a 3rd-person past tense, and would for that reason prefer to continue doing so.}

Roleplay ideas:
Mechanical Messiah: SIM is approached by a religious group that believes her to be their god reincarnated. Since turning water into wine and the like is easy for the automaton, perhaps she may have found herself some loyal followers...?
