Ryuko is considered a veteran in her sport, she started training at the age of 8, she trained with her father a former ten time world heavyweight champion. Her father was a little pushy with her doing it but he always made sure that it was what Ryuko wanted and it was. Ryuko grew up like any other child, she went to school and hung out with friends. However Ryuko was sometimes seen as a problem student, it wasn't that she was always causing trouble but that she always seemed to be in a fight. She didn't pick on kids but the total opposite, Ryuko was always defending the kids that were getting picked on as she wanted to defend those that could not defend themselves or stand up for those that could not. Half to most of the time it lead to a fight and even though she was defending the weak Ryuko would still get in trouble. it didn't help that Ryuko had a bit of a temper that she could only control for so long.

At first glance Ryuko might appear to be tough and mean but once you see her friendly smile you know she is kind and nice. Well she is kind and nice outside the ring, once Ryuko steps through those ropes her demeanor changes as she is focused on one goal and that is winning. Now Ryuko does not always win but she is able to win more than half the time but no one can win all the time. However getting to that ring was not an easy road for Ryuko, she kept up her training with her father until he passed just before Ryuko's senior year of highschool. She then went on to wrestle in what is considered the minor leagues of wrestling. After being successful there a trainer of the big leagues saw what he liked in Ryuko and offered to train her and get her into the prime time, Ryuko accepted.


Ryuko continued her training and after a few months was wrestling in the ring she wrestles in now. However just starting out no matter how hard she tried she would lose most her matches but this did not deter Ryuko. A more experienced wrestler told Ryuko that she needed a finisher to complement the submission moves Ryuko uses if she wanted to win more as well as continuing training. This lead Ryuko to using the finisher she does uses now, a modified dragon sleeper and eventually Ryuko started using another finisher called the kiss of the dragon. This two moves allowed Ryuko to win much more and eventually earned her, her wrestling name 'The Dragon' not just for her moves but for the dragon on her tights, a symbol to her finishers.

Ryuko kept winning in the singles matches and earned several titles elevating her to the status of a veteran. Ryuko watched the match of a new young rookie named Sohara one day and even though Sohara lost Ryuko liked what she saw and after the match she approached Sohara. Ryuko had been looking for something new to try and tag team wrestling was something she had not done yet. She also figured that teaming up with the rookie Sohara would help but also Ryuko could train Sohara some. Sohara accepted Ryuko's offer and the two have been wrestling together the past six months. They only win about half there matches but that is ok with Ryuko she is having fun and really enjoys Sohara's company. Ryuko is a good person to meet unless you meet her in the ring, then you have to face The Dragon.
