Master of the Northern Castle and a natural-born fighter, Ryujii is a force to be reckoned with, the Storm to Salreana's Hearth. While tauric creatures aren't uncommon to the Isles, tauric dragonkin are incredibly rare and unusually committed to proving themselves, in part due to the lofty position they are put in by their birth. Ryujii is, to be expected from her stature, very closely linked to her ancestors, having the most similarities to the dragons of yore out of the current monarchs, and being the sole possessor one of their strongest abilities; the iconic Dragon's Breath, able to create devastating arcs of lightning from her mouth. Thankfully, she also loves a good fight, inviting challengers from all across the isle to try their strength against hers, refusing to use her breath on those who haven't drawn her explicit ire.

While she is very quick to be friendly, she is incredibly slow to trust, in part due to her own demeanor, expecting to be treated the same way. Conversely, those who explicitly betray her are met with an anger truly befitting of a dragon. It is, however, very hard to get her truly angry, giving a good handful of second chances even for major frustrations, as long as they can be smoothed out.

Her skill and raw strength come at a price, however. She's the heaviest and slowest of the monarchs, and has trouble dealing with smaller, more agile fighters. Her body, though powerful and durable, requires plenty of energy to sustain, leading to frequent hunting in the Wildlands dotting the isle, where the lawless hide. And finally, her eagerness to fight makes her rather easy to wound, even though it makes her quite hard to bring down, and she's not likely to run away, even if the tides do turn against her.

Currently, she has fled after her sister after the fall of the Western Castle, seeking out answers and trying to track down where she went. Now lost in the same location that her sister is lost in, where the foodchain is in shambles, she seeks a way out, but finds herself curious as to this new world and the challenges it could bring.
