Don't worry about cute lil' Ryleh! She's not here to capture and devour humans or anything, nope. She's just here scouting, y'know, looking to see what sort of other creatures live out in this vast universe...
If you can't tell by looking at her, she's an alien. A rather bizarre one, to be sure. With her natural form being a tentacleblob with a single large eye, she's had to shape up a bit to be even remotely approachable... hence her semi-humanoid-if-you-ignore-the-giant-eye look right now.
Feel free to snuggle her though! You only have a 98% chance of being sucked into her or drained in some way!
