Rukia is a Shinigami of the 13 Court Guard Squads of Seireitei, the spirit world where the Shinigami reside. Loyal, just and perhaps just a little on the serious side at times, she is very capable and understands what it means to serve a duty to both the living and the dead, she herself being the latter of those two, like all Shinigami.

After a rather dramatic turn of events that lead to Rukia meeting a befriending a number of people from the living world, one of which whom she owes her very life, Rukia has become something of an emissary to the real world. She doesn't know a great deal... things do change after over a century, so she can be a little unsure of things at times. There are customs on the real world she is... well, unaccustomed to, but being a very fair, intelligent girl, she is very apt to learn.

Still, despite her naturally gentle nature, Rukia is a warrior. If threatened, she will defend herself with the intent to subdue an opponent, or kill if the threat is great enough. Do not judge her by her size... though she is short, she has immense speed and agility, and has a variety of techniques and skills to help in overcoming an opponent. Should she have to draw her sword... or rather, should she have to release it, you had best to surrender unless you'd end up as a cluster of ice cubes.

Abilities
-Kido-
( Note: Before Rukia can perform any of her Kido spells, she is required to perform a short incantation to prepare. After it is done, she can perform several techniques without requiring it again )

Bakudo 1 - Paralysis: A low-level paralysis kido, this binds the arms of the target behind their bind back like a pair of shackles and grounds them under pressure. Powerful or skilled beings may be able to break out of it, though it is extremely durable for any average human.

Kido 33 - Blue Fire, Crash Down: One of Rukia's signature Kido spells. It fires a blue ball of energy at a high speed that explodes upon contact.

Kido 4 - White Lighting: A piercing energy bolt attack with a ferocious attack power. This attack can easily penetrate most types of armor, walls and the average human body.

She cannot use an infinite amount of kido, remember. Like all Shinigami, she has a limit to the amount of energy she can use up before she should tire herself out. This applies to all methods of fighting also.

-Zanpakuto : Sode no Shirayuki



Described to be the most beautiful of all Zanpakuto, Sode no Shirayuki (When released) becomes entirely white and gains a long, white ribbon at the end of the handle. At this point, Rukia can unleash her variety of ice-based abilities and her agility and strength are also increased.

Her Zanpakuto is unleashed via the command 'Dance', given by Rukia at any time of battle or danger, but only when necessary.

Forms
Rukia has two forms. Her Shinigami form and her Gigai form. Both actually look the same, however her gigai is a more natural human body of flesh and bone. Though both are physical manifestations, her gigai limits the use of many of her Shinigami powers. She still had access to some kido techniques, but she cannot use her Zanpakuto.

When in her gigai (False Body), she usually wears a more natural attire, either being her school uniform or loose clothes, usually dresses or blouses with skirts, along with sandals or heels. Very feminine.
