Ru is an enigma of a girl. She doesn't know who her parents were and she doesn't remember most of her early life. Kind strangers have mostly been the ones to help her out in her times of need. Her physical appearance is mostly normal. She seems to be half Chinese and half European. The most remarkable feature about her seems to be her eyes which are each distinctly unique colors.

However, amnesia is not the strangest thing about her. Ru can transform herself into a variety of creatures. Her very name, "Lykos" comes from the Greek word for Wolf, one of the creatures she commonly transforms into.

Ru can transform exactly once a day by concentrating for a long moment. It can be risky if she is in a hazardous situation but so far she's been able to pull it off safely. It is in this form that she usually eats. This usually just means deer or chickens but sometimes she has been known to snag a human that catches her attention. However, despite being a man-eater she typically feels guilty about it if the person was innocent. Ru can leave her animal form when she chooses to but can be forced out of it if someone pokes her in the eyes.

With minimal effort, Ru can turn into a hybrid of a human and an animal. This varies by certain degrees. If she becomes half wolf she will look like an anthro wolf. If she only becomes one quarter wolf she will merely grow fangs, wolf ears, and a wolf tail.
