Nature always has it protectors ... wild creatures are suited for defending their homes, innocent-looking plants contain deadly poison, and all living things adapt to their environment. But when dark influences endanger the innocent forests and animals of the land, its protectors rise to defend life.

Rosia Viridia is one of those protectors. As a child, she was found starving and injured deep in the Blissful Forest, home to a village of dryads that chanced upon the girl and took her in. Raised by the servants of the nature goddess, Rosia grew to nurture and love the innocence and beauty of life. When the goddess appeared to her in a dream and asked her to come to the Sanctum Woods, Rosia obeyed.

The Goddess of Nature saw the kindness and devotion in Rosia's heart, and offered the girl her blessing - to watch over nature and life, to spend eternity protecting and nurishing nature. Rosia accepted, and the Goddess filled her soul with pure essence. Gifted with the power to invoke plants and flowers to her aid, Rosia has spent the last 10,000 years serving as a guardian of nature and fighting those who would endanger the innocent.

Although appearing no older than sixteen, Rosia holds the knowledge and experience of ages. Despite the darkness she has encountered, she still holds a youthful naivety towards that which appears beautiful. She is stalwart and courageous against those who seek to disturb the sanctity of nature.

Rosia's Magic
Rosia's powers call upon plants to assist her in attacking or affecting those who would harm the innocent. Her most-used magic is to summon magical flowers with various effects.

Lilies: These pure flowers restore the strength of those near them, numbing pain and rekindling the essence of drained creatures.
Sunflowers: Drawing in the light of the sun, Rosia's sunflowers can cast magical beams to harm beings of darkness.
Roses: The scent of these fragrent flowers sedate those who inhale their aroma, making them drowsy and ebbing their rage and fury.
Tulips: The nectar that can be drawn from these flowers can heal minor injuries in seconds when applied to wounds or accelerate the body's natural healing when consumed.

In addition to flowers, Rosia can summon vines and roots to lash at and restrain enemies. She can also call thorned vines to use as a whip or to attack, the thorns releasing a weakening venom into her opponent.

Most enemies are dealt with by restraining them until other guardians can imprison them. In the case that an opponent deserves a permanent end, Rosia can call upon a massive rose from underneath enemies that trap them in their petals. The great rose absorbs the body and essence of the enemy, passing on some of their power to Rosia.

Although Rosia is strong, she is not immortal and can be slain. If Rosia dies, her spirit melds with nature to be reformed in her Spirit Flower in the Sanctum Woods. She retains her memories up until the encounter with the being that ended her prior life.
