Rose Briarflame is a dragon, although she's a rather young dragon, barely out of her nest really, she's still at the delicate age of 26, which for dragons is incredibly, unbelievably young. Little more than a hatchling in the eyes of the older, wiser, and more mature dragons. so really, it should come as little surprise, that Rose barely fits the usual description of powerful, old, wise, and solemn. In fact, she's young, energetic, hyper, eager, and a little bit foolish. Rose's really just an eager, super energetic girl that is out to see the world, to explore and meet all kinds of interesting creatures, without the worry of her parents looming over her, or any dragon like glories looming overhead and overshadowing her meeting with the various friendly creatures of the world. After all who can really show what they're like, and who can really show off all the desires they have, all the little lusts and little nitpicks of society that are so often suppressed when presented to something as mighty and powerful as a dragon. Of course, sometimes that doesn't help, sometimes it doesn't matter if Rose acts nothing like the stereotypes of a dragon and is as friendly and eager as possible. Sometimes, a dragon is a dragon...so for that purpose she also has a human form, using what little magical power she has at such a young age. Her scales turn to smooth, soft flesh, her horns vanish and dark, violet hair appears from her head, and more often than not she'll even wear clothes...admittedly, very, very tight and revealing clothes, but clothes nonetheless.

Now, the next question one must ask is just what kind of dragon is Rose, what kind of dragon is this Briarflame? Well, the first hints of that are usually the scales, she has black, very black scales, with a light violet underbelly. Her last name was for a clan, even dragons had surnames after all, and the Briarflames are, well, swamp dwellers, preferring moisture and wet, humid environments. The most notable feature of such dragons, is that they don't breathe fire, but acid, although their saliva is completely harmless. Other than that they're fairly standard, gathering materials, rarely steel or iron due to water's effect on them, preferring gems and the like over most other forms of wealth. Like other dragons they also have a lot of magical talent, although Rose, at her young age, knows only how to morph into a human shape, and a few other, basic spells. She's also a big stronger and faster than say, a human, but it's hardly anything significant yet, and when in human form, she's nothing but a human...with a few magic tricks.
