Rorik

Rorik is an unusual creature.

At first, his body seems like that of a very tall anthro deer. Rorik has a large body with dark mahogany fur covering him all over, antlers above his head adding an extra foot or so, and a curious face with big black eyes. An impressive creature standing at around 12 feet tall with the antlers. Said antlers look quite dangerous and impressive to those on the receiving end, though thanks to some aid from a friend, they can become very soft and pliable so as not to be too much of a hassle in certain situations. However, upon closer inspection one would likely notice that a few things seem to be...Off.

The deer's black eyes, when in bright light, shrink to cat-like slits and reveal yellow eyes behind them. His ears also seem to be quite round and furry for what one might expect of a deer. His arms and legs also do not end in hooves, but in large, soft, furry paws with retractible claws. And when he opens his mouth, his teeth are revealed to be sharper than a normal deer's.

In reality, Rorik is part deer and part feline. Lion, to be precise. The thick lion's tail falls down over his backside, ending in a darker tuft of fur. A contrast from the firm hips and smooth, supple rump that clearly comes from his deer half, swaying back and forth as he walks while his tail swishes lazily. His body overall seems slender, yet strong. His limbs are fairly long, though have some muscle behind them as well. He is fast and powerful enough to have overcome many of life's obstacles so far. However, there is one final aspect of Rorik that is also a bit out of the ordinary.

In short, he has a large, sloshing gut that he carries in front of him. A big, seemingly cumbersome thing that juts out in front of him like a dome and sways back and forth along with his rump as he walks. Big as his belly is, it doesn't seem to hinder him in any way, and he almost seems to wear it as a thing of pride. And it definitely shows that Rorik is indeed a meat-eater.

The last bit of Rorik, his groin, is usually not seen, as he at the very least has enough modesty to wear pants or a loin cloth. Though the modesty of such a thing is quickly called into question as whatever he wears to cover himself, a very large bulge that doesn't leave to much to the imagination always shows through, making the occasional embarrassing situation when he bumps into others.

Rorik doesn't really talk about himself much. His life in general isn't really known, though if ever asked he always claims that his life is nothing special and that nothing really spectacular ever happened to him. He tries to avoid the topic of his parents. If asked, he says that both are still alive, but he doesn't say much beyond that. Something about his odd mixture seems to make him uncomfortable when speaking about it with others.

Aside from his unwillingness to talk much about himself, he does seem to be a dual-natured kind of guy. He is normally quite calm, serene, friendly and even quite submissive for his size, perhaps traits from his deer side. But there aren't as many "deer in the headlights" moments from him as one might expect, because when threatened, angry, or extremely aroused, his lion side surfaces and he becomes much more focused, stronger and very dominant.

Regardless of which side of himself is out to play, he has accepted the fact that he is indeed a meat eater, and can often be seen wolfing down other creatures whole, hence where he got the giant, wobbling belly that he sports in front of him. However, he is certainly not above being taken by surprised and having his lion side suppressed so that another may add his impressive girth to theirs.
