Barak is the son of a Thor, he is a demi-human thunder god or a demi-god. He doesn't know who his mother is as his father would never tell him. All that he knows is that his mother is human, after turning eighteen he left for earth to find her. His father did not want him to leave as his training was not finished and there was probably no one strong enough on earth to finish Barak's training. He also didn't want him to go because he didn't think Barak would find her. He didn't listen and went to earth anyway. For disobeying his father Barak was told he could never return to Asgard until his father said he could. He thought his father was bluffing until he attempted to go through the gates that lead to Asgard. He was locked out, knowing that his father was telling the truth he went back to earth to look for his mother. He was now stuck on earth until his father would let him return. Barak was determined to find his mother and refuses to even go back and forth between Asgard and earth, until he finds his mother even when his father allows him to come back . Barak like his father cares for all living things and likes to protect all mankind. He is not going to help or do everything because he can't be in two places at one time or solve every problem. If he sees something he can help with he will help. Barak is a nice guy but has a bit of a temper. He is able to keep his temper under control most of the time but if he is pushed to far he will snap like most everyone does. The only difference between him and everyone else is his powers are tied to his emotions. If he gets too angry a violent thunder storm will break out and lightening will strike all over the place. So Barak does everything he can to make sure he stays calm because trust me you won't like it when he gets angry.
Barak searched all over the world for his mother. He searched for four years and came up with nothing. He was not going to give up, he had to keep searching. Barak had gotten a tip from one of his friends in Asgard that was willing to help him and he told him that his mother could be found in a mysterious park. He searched all over for the park and eventually found this mysterious park. He looked around and it was filled with strange but interesting creatures. He even saw that there were humans around. He trusted the tip his friend gave him and started to search around the park. He found out the park had several areas by it as well. A forest, a lake and much more. Barak knew he would be here a while and made himself a home in the forest. If his mother was here he was going to take his time looking for her. Barak was alone and had no idea how long it would be until his father let him back into Asgard even after he found his mother. All the family and friends Barak has are in Asgard. In the park he has no family, no friends, nothing, he is all alone. The thing he misses most of all is a lover. Could he find one in the park, it wasn't impossible but he wasn't sure. He was looking to have all those things though, friends, adopted family but he was looking for his real mother as well and love.
Barak remembered something his father had said. That Barak's training was not finished yet, he was quite strong but had some ways to go to finish his training. Barak could train others and if he did that it would also help him further his training. At the same time Barak also needed a teacher or teachers to further his training even more. He wasn't sure if anyone would want to be one of his students or teachers. His name is not well known like his fathers. Barak spends some of his days in park and surrounding areas looking for his mother or anyone that might know where she is. Other days Barak travels the park and surrounding areas looking for fun things to do, because hey even a demigod gets bored. He also looks for anyone that would want to be his friend, adopted family or lover. He is use to being surrounded by people like that since Asgard is a huge place and that is where his family and friends are at. Barak is unsure what he will find in the park but his willing to look.
One might think since Barak is a demi-god he is all powerful. That is not the case, even though he has power Barak is far from all powerful. As for what are Barak's powers are, well being half thunder god would give you a pretty good clue. Barak can make lightning bolts strike anywhere he wants just by a snap of his fingers. He can also shoot lightning bolts out of his hands. He can also create thunder storms but he can only do this once a day for some reason. When there is a thunder storm going on his powers increase. Like his father Barak has super human strength, however even his strength has limits. There are just somethings that he can't lift or move. Also like his father Barak can fly even though he has no wings, it comes in handy often. Flying is much faster than walking or running but uses up a lot more energy so he can't fly everywhere and sometimes he just walks from place to place like everyone else. Barak can create what he calls lightning balls in his hands. Basically they are balls of electricity, there not lethal if they hit you but they are not going to feel good either. If one of the lightning balls hits someone it will shock them and depending on the person may knock them down. If a lightning ball misses and hits the ground it will explode like a grenade and send lightning shooting everywhere. Barak can take his two hands face them palm to palm and create a super lightning ball. This take a lot of strength to throw and can knock someone back up to twenty five feet. If it hits the ground it will explode and send out a wave of electricity electrocuting anything in a five foot radius. The downside to the super lightning ball is it requires immense amounts of energy to use and Barak can only make one before he runs out of enough energy to make another. Also if Barak's energy level is under half he can't make a super lightning ball or it might kill him. Now one might think there no downside to the rest of Barak's powers. Wrong, each time Barak uses his powers his energy gets drained. Also as his energy gets lower Barak's super strength does as well, when his energy gets low he is only as strong as a normal human male. He can only use his powers for so long before he runs out of energy and his powers no longer work. When that happens he must rest in order to use his powers again. Barak is half human after all

*After a long search Barak finally found his mother. She was being held in a prison style facility 200 miles away from the park. He was reunited with her and then decided he would stay in the park so he could be close to his mother.
