Ritzi likes to think of herself as nothing incredible, just a friendly woodland deer. Except she's rather large and can even fight for herself and make herself useful! How she came to be is a mystery... even the deer herself cannot recall her own origins. Yet she's always been about living in the present, in blissful ignorance if she has to. She is incredibly quick to trust, but can be just as likely to eat someone as she is to be their friend depending on how bad her hunger is at any given moment.
Deerfolk are generally seen as excitable, skittish, and the kind of people that love to frollic around a field with their spare time and Ritzi very much embodies all of these things; but don't underestimate one of her kicking hooves or blunted arrows! Though she's more civilized than many, with ample skill in speech and rangery, she's also rather... omnivorous as well. Though around normally sized people she can get nervous, worried she'll mess something up; the only reason why she doesn't let people ride her is her bounding strides make it rather uncomfortable when she moves quickly. And despite her frail looking body, she is incredibly strong and can carry great burdens, though her modesty, bounding strides, and wanderlust makes her unreliable for carrying cargo or any work a horse might do.
