Rip Van Winkle was once a german infantry sniper serving during World War II. That all changed, however, when Hitler issued his "Special Order #666." Turned into a vampire, Rip became an elite SS officer. When the Third Riech was crushed and the vampire unit she served in secretly annihilated, Rip was one of the few that survived. Now, she and the remaining members of the "Werewolf Squad" bide their time until they can once again bring about their grand war to the world; and this time, no one in it will be allowed to sit out.

Rip's appearance age-wise is certainly not that of a world war 2 veteran, due to her being preserved at the tender age of 20 via vampirism. She is rather tall and lanky, though her youth is clear enough because of her boyish appearance. She has freckles on her cheeks and often a cute smile on her face (outside of combat anyway) This is in contrast with her clothing choice, which is almost always her black SS uniform. Around her neck is a chain necklace with a golden swastika pendant.

Her hair is very long, sloping along her shoulders and reaching her knees where it frays out in all directions messily. She wears glasses; while Rip has extremely far sight with them on, her vision is blurry without them. Her clearest symptoms of vampirism are her pale white skin, red eyes, as well as her fangs. In addition, Rip can will her teeth to become quite sharp.

lastly, she is rarely seen without her enormous flintlock musket; while Rip can and will use a variety of rifles, she always prefers this one.

Personality: Rip van Winkle is extremely loyal to the Nazi ideology; no, not that whole "exterminate the Jews" thing that the Hitler tacked on there, the declaration of German supremacy worldwide. She is so startlingly loyal, in fact, that even her closest friends would not be safe if she were given the order to eliminate them.

Outside of her duty, however, Rip is a relatively cheerful soul, if not obviously mentally unstable due to all she has undergone. She enjoys hunting as well as tinkering with guns, collecting antiques. She also has a beautiful singing voice and loves opera, being particularly obsessed with "Der Freischütz", a three-act piece about a hunter who sold his soul to the devil for greater prowess at his sport. This obsession leads her to often compare herself to this character, despite the grisly fate that he suffers at the end of the opera.

-Rip goes on a nightly "hunt" for blood, during which she picks a random victim to hunt down and consume. This often involves pursuit, wiether genuine or allowed by Rip herself due to her love of her twisted game. Typically, however, unless she is attacked by her quarry, she will not shoot to kill; only to wound

-Rip can have personality swings, but beneath everything a driving force is behind it; her own arrogance and sense of duty to her (fallen) regime. Any sort of goodness in this one was lost long ago, so don't be fooled by her.

- Rip cannot contain too large a load inside of her stomach; her body technically is not made to eat people whole, but she can manage it enough to get by. This limits her to one prey per scene.

-Rip CAN spread her vampirism, but this is a very slim chance as she has no real use for a cohort. If she does, however, expect to be driven like a slave.

Combat capabilities

Rip van Winkle is truthfully not the greatest or strongest fighter in her unit, but she is nevertheless very adept at killing others.

Strengths: Rip's vampirism increased her already bountiful abilities as a sharpshooter enormously, giving her enhanced perception and reaction time. But best of all was the power it granted her: "The Magic Bullet." Using this technique, Rip can manipulate the path of bullets fired by her weapons in ways normally impossible, even making them do u-turns and going through someone a second time.

Weaknesses: Vampirism normally more greatly enhances one's strength and endurance than Rip's, who got the short end of the stick on that spectrum. She is only slightly stronger than a normal human and truth be told rather awful at hand to hand combat. She doesn't handle pain well, often even crying like a child if badly wounded. While she is about three times as fast a runner as your average joe, she is still outclassed by plenty of more powerful beings.

On a side note, her weapon is usually a flintlock musket; while she does have the amazing ability to manipulate bullets, if she misses, a time consuming reload proccess for the weapon leaves her vulnerable.
