Riley's, as far as she is aware, had a fairly normal childhood. Born a female Rockruff to a pair of proud Lycanroc parents, she led an ordinary life. School was a typical experience, she had a best friend from her childhood, and she managed to earn an associate's degree from a community college, though was stopped from going farther due to a lack of funding. A typical, average, if not perfectly ideal life for someone. And then... well, she finally evolved. The evolution to a day-form Lycanroc went as expected and, for a few hours, all seemed fine. That evening though, as the sun set, Riley had a change. Not just into a midnight Lycanroc, was one might expect at this point, but Riley also switched genders. And when the sun rose, she went back to normal. It was a strange and confusing experience, one that she experiences daily and perplexes her to no end.

For a while the wolf was caught in this sort of uncontrollable flux. Eating and digesting prey would stave off the transformations until she either reformed them or she voluntarily shifted, but there was no stopping them. While she adapted and took her unique quirks in stride Riley still wanted to find some sort of solution for her situation. Research on her part eventually led her to a scientist who offered to help her. Some genetic examination revealed a few truths, such as her parents not being her biological ones. No, instead, as she came to learn, she had been born of a ditto father and a lycanroc mother and then put up for adoption. She's still not sure who her biological parents are, but it was the step needed to control her situation.

A few experiments later and the scientist helped her gain control of her transformation, which put her into a female Dusk-Lycanroc as her true, most natural feeling form. Unfortunately, like all other changes, she needed a prey to stabilize it. Riley claims the scientist herself, in her curiosity, volunteered and the lycanroc took her into her tail which is why it is so floofy these days. Either way, the stabilization worked and it lets Riley control her transformations freely. Odd quirk though are her eyes: she's always heterochromatic of the forms she's not in. If she goes to Midnight form, for example, her red eye will turn to the Dusk form's green.

Riley has always had an interest in vore, but didn't become capable of being a predator until she evolved, nor did she discover she could reform herself or prey until then as well. Ever outgoing she's not shy about offering to eat someone or to give herself up as a snack. Riley is completely shameless about her interests and also very open, which sometimes leads to awkward situations. But for her? She'll just go find someone else if they're not interested. She's a total switch and doesn't care which side she ends on. Heck, she likes it so much that she works full time at a vorish night club as a predator and prey! She's a bit popular though so she's able to easily turn down anyone who doesn't interest her.
