Let's start with basics, shall we?

Richard Devries is human, male, late twenties or early thirties by appearance. Fairly handsome, with a healthy(though slightly pale) skin tone. He's got brown hair with faint red highlights, and sports a goetee and moustache combo that sport ruddier shades still. His eyes are a curiously bright blue, and he tends to dress in somber tones, grays and blacks and blues, sporting a simple wristband on one arm and a silver necklace dangling from, of course, his neck.

As for his profession? Well, it's not a profession as much as a hobby, really, but he's better than most professionals at this point. Simpler to think of him as retired but still active in the field, perhaps?

Regardless, Richard is a sorcerer. Dark magic, summoning and binding demons and other supernatural beasties, mind control, the works. He uses chaos energies and entropic energies to devastating effectin battle(rare that it is) and when push comes to shove he has some nasty, /nasty/ surprises for those who get too close. Starting with knives, though. He rather likes his knives. His favorite ones are obsidian, and very useful with a... captive audience.

Anyway. This character is not nice. IN fact, he's meant to let me play my dark side better. You have been forewarned.
