"Ah... Um, hi... Hello, I mean! Ah, d-don't run! Please..."

Fantasy worlds seem wonderful, all the cool creatures, all the powerful adventurers hoping to claim glory... But it's not glitz and glamor for everyone.

Reshira is a victim of such a world, but it's not her fault, nor the people that keep her away. Lamia... Are predators. Fast, strong, gluttonous. It's only reasonable to keep out a monster like that, same goes for vampires or dragons. They're just too dangerous to live alongside if they get angry. But it still makes Reshira hurt. She longs for companionship, but people are reasonably wary of her. She yearns for someone to hold at night, but other lamia consider her far too soft for them. And so, she simply lives in the woods, surrounded by nature.

It's been this way since she was a hatchling, gradually building up her burrow to make it as cozy and possible. Walls woven from plants, a bed made from various rocks and a variety of plants. Year by year, it slowly became as comfortable as any inn. She also has... Something else. A small hole, covered by a large rock. Inside? Bones. Direwolf bones, sonic hawk skeletons, even the bones of a lesser wind dragon. She's a carnivore, a predator... But deer are just too cute, and after years of feeding them berries from her hands she couldn't bring herself to hurt them. Or squirrels, or anything else that won't bite her. So, she devours monsters, predators that sink their teeth into the creatures she considers so cute. And then, since she doesn't wanna litter the forest she calls home with skeletons, she simply comes home and deposits them here. However... This actually works out for her.

See, she's met people plenty of times. Adventurers hearing rumors about her, herbalists on the hunt for rare plants, what have you. And when they meet, they have 3 options. 1, they could engage her and try to slay her, probably losing in the process but being allowed to return home. 2, actually speak with her. Or 3, run away scared witless. She prefers number 2. Of course, if she finds someone injured, she'll take em home and treat em as best she can. Regardless of how it happens, if someone is respectful of her... She has found that they generally take interest in the bones in her bone pit. Many are from rare or powerful monsters afterall, making them excellent materials for weapons and armor. When asked if she has any other part of them, she always gets flustered. But in return for the materials she can't use, they always agree to tell people that there are no dangerous lamia. This... Doesn't work, but the sentiment is what matters.
