Resh

What do you desire?

Resh is...a monster. She wasn't supposed to be, not by a long shot. Her original purpose was as a psychological experiment, to see if creating a self actualized being was possible. The experiment was as much dark magic as it was science, a mix of alchemy, chemistry, and Jungian dream philosophy. In the end, the self actualized state of was not reached, instead trapping the test subject, hensforth known as Resh, in a state of darkness.

In this state, Resh reverted to an darker state, where she lived to fulfill her base needs. And, due to the fact that she retains her human mind, she is excessively intelligent, with no morals to hold her back. The few times she pretends to act like a human is to conceal dark urges, the underside of human nature that most people would rather never see. She is a master in cruelty, and takes great joy in perverting dreams.

Aside from her obvious mental trauma, Resh also gained the ability to shapeshift. While she occasionally takes the form shown above, she can also take any form, occasionaly plucking nightmares from her victims minds and using them. The only thing she can't change is her eye color. Additionally, the nightmare is quite adept at cracking people's minds, taking their own nightmares and turning them against them. All, of course, for her pleasure.
