Melissa's Job

Melissa is a traveler from a parallel universe where interdimensional travel had been discovered a few decades ago. Along the timeline in which her universe exists, the technology has been explored enough for an adventurous photojournalist like herself to want to venture through. Though not totally stabilized, the travel is usually predictable and repeatable. It seems safe enough to appease Melissa. She's a reporter for a national news agency; specifically she works as a photojournalist.

Melissa's Appearance

She usually sets out to her various locations wearing brown leather hiking boots and light blue jeans. She has a white, tanktop which is often obscured by the expensive camera around her neck. She also has a leather satchel full of supplies though must of what is in there are dry food rations and lenses. It should be noted though that, for the purposes of self preservation, she does carry a knife and a gun (both of which she barely knows how to use.)
Now with a few years of experience under her belt she often covers her brown hair with some sort of hat. This is, of course, all for reasons of pragmatism, not so much any sense of fashion. She has pith helmets, hard hats and helmets, simple baseball caps and of course cold weather protective gear. A collection she's built up through years of inconvenient lessons.

OOC Stuff

The original Melissa never leaves her own universe. Every time she steps through the portal a clone enters through to that particular destination (the setting of the RP.) Therefore every version of Melissa will be the only one to ever exist in that reality. She will never be able to reform unless someone does this to her within that universe.
