Personality

Rennie is a relaxed and laidback rat who enjoys the quiet moments when he can and gets straight to the point on serious business. A man of his word, if he says he'll do something he will even if it gets him severely hurt or even put him at risk of death. To women he is always a gentleman opening doors and stepping out of their way, those who get to know him will find he has a soft spot for kids since he was an orphan in his younger years. To men they will find him to be a loyal friend or deadly foe.

Physical Description (when fully naked)

Rennie's hair and fur are short, well groomed and clean. A surprising thing since most believe rats to be filthy. His face is somewhat sharp with softened edges, clear blue eyes showing only the faintest glint of mischief as he gives everyone a soft and relaxed smile. His body structure is less of the standard thin and more lithe and toned, muscles gently ripplig with his movements under short fur. On his back are a few streaking slash and bullet scars, no doubt from previous jobs and other incidents. The rodent's shoulders are broad and firm, his lithe form giving them a false appearance of fragility.

Backstory

Rennie Balthazar was born into crime, his parents being bank robbers that were wanted in seven different cities. Though despite being the son of criminals he was left out of the crimes, being told to stay at the park and wait for them as they went to tend to some adult "business". This continued for some time till the unfortunate day when his parents robbed the wrong bank, getting eaten and digested by the bank clerk. The predator soon found the six year old rat outside the bank waiting for his deceased parents to return. Feeling at guilty for turning this young and naive boy into an orphan, they took him home to feed and care the rat till the police came to listen to the situation. The officer decided that it was best for Rennie to be sent to an orphanage. Ren stayed at the orphanage for a few months, actually making a few friends with the other orphans by distracting the orphanage staff members so they could get some extra food and blankets for the winter. Balthazar had a generally peaceful life there when you ignore how often staff members got drunk and beat the orphans. Then Rennie's life changed forever when he protected a fellow orphan from a drunk staff member.
