Having only somewhat known her parents, Remi Larsson grew up mostly around her uncle, who owned an apartment building on the edge of town. From a young age, Remi was a rather crude and crass girl, not taking to any of her uncle's lessons about manners, getting into fights with other kids at school, and of course, eating more than her adult uncle and his friends combined. Insistant that she wouldn't be one of those children who turns into a blob and grows up to be useless, Remi's uncle signed her up for junior boxing classes, driving her out to them even when she didn't want to go. Fortunately, Remi was a natural, having a good deal of pent-up energy, and having always had a chip on her shoulder since her parents left.

In her mid-teens, Remi became notorious for breaking into her uncle's alcohol cabinet, causing trouble behind the apartment building, and being the center of a good little number of disappearances in her town, though her uncle always smokescreened the authorities and kept her from getting in trouble, as much as he could. He wasn't sure whether his adoptive daughter was implicit in these vanishings, but he knew that she hadn't had anyone on her side for most of her life, being thin on friends and hefty on body, and he didn't want things to be any harder for her. Of course, she knew exactly where those kids went--her waistline, the thickness of her gut, and padding on both her arms and thighs, not to mention her lithe muscle beneath the chub.

Remi, despite her body, is a tough girl, able to take a punch and hit back without too much trouble. She has been boxing on and off since the local youth centers allowed her too, and developed a reputation for being fierce in a direct confrontation, despite her short stature. As well, she is quite cunning, and while she was never very book smart, Remi knows how people work, what makes them tick, and how to get them to do what she wants, whether it's through physical intimidation or friendliness. Whule she barely ever had any friends, Remi is always willing to make more, even if she can be quite overbearing and hard to handle when she gets her hackles up. Remi is also quite a good cook, having learned to do so from her uncle, and one might as likely to find her in an apron, in front of a stove, as out pounding some poor fool who called her fat.

Now, on the cusp of real adulthood, Remi was elated to find that her uncle's "surprise" birthday gift for her was the key to a recently-vacated apartment on the top floor of the four-story building. While she is still more or less dependent on her uncle for money, clothes, and other necessities, Remi keeps herself fed and entertained with what she has on-hand. With her now practically being an adult, her uncle has loosened up a great deal, buying her the occasional case of beers, all the junk food she wants, and aiding in replacing her clothes when she outgrows them. However, her uncle has also noticed that lately, Remi has been bringing in extra money, and he's not sure where from...but it takes some pressure off him, so he doesn't bother to ask.

In reality, Remi got herself involved in a not-so-legal fighting ring run out of the city's underground, where she is often underestimated (to fatal effect) by her opponents, where she fights under the alias "Disposer". Her finisher (which she has a habit of breaking out early, if need be) is a real crowd pleaser, and everyone cheers when the last wiggling bits of meat vanish down Remi's gullet, never to be seen again. While not the ring's most successful fighter, and still as-of-yet untested by real competition, Remi definitely has a reputation. Thankfully, her uncle is asleep when she returns home at three in the morning on the weekends, and doesn't ask any questions when she walks to class with bandages on her face or bruises on her arms. A few beers later, and it's like it never happened.

All in all, Remi is a decent person, if brusque and prickly on the surface, but she likes to fight, drink a little, and loves to eat.
