Once, it was rare to see dark elves....or dunmer, or drow...above ground, much less out in daylight. Once, they were known as malevolent, untrustworthy, and evil, at war with nearly every other sentient species in the world. But of course, all of that was long ago. As with most other demihuman race time has changed much about dark elves. While still cunning, they're as much a part of modern society as any other elf, naga, dragon, dwarf, goblin, or harpy.

For her part, Ravena is (relatively) young as her kind go. She comes from an expansive and well to do family clan, and is a bit of a neet. Money isn't much of a problem, so while she's technically a university student, she spends much of her time doing social things. She parties. She attends rallies about social issues. She plays online games.

Standing 5'9" tall, she has the nearly ebony complexion and ivory hair of most drow. Her eyes have a naturally crimson hue, and while they can be oversensitive to light, she can also see exceptionally well in the dark, particularly sources of heat. Her clothes tend towards a punk or goth aesthetic; clingy, ripped black jeans or stockings, dark shirts, a thin chain for a belt, a studded leather bracelet, that sort of thing.

Eat people? Sure. She can. But that doesn't mean that she's likely to, or any less likely to end up inside someone else. There is, after all, still a fair amount of ancient mistrust of her type, and it isn't necessarily undeserved....
