"Oh, hello there. Are you here to see the birds too?"

Rabi has always been an introverted gal. She kept to herself, spoke when spoken to, and helped people stand up if they ever needed it. She was fairly tall compared to most other species afterall, so she preferred to observe in order to ensure she didn't hurt people by mistake. Her parents were always very proud of her, though they were also worried with how little she spoke and how few friends she seemed to have. From the moment she could stand till she was 18, she never really seemed particularly close with anyone... But there was an exception, the nobody knew about.

Animals. She was affable to people, but animals always caught her attention more. From giving worms to birds when going on walks around the neighborhood, petting squirrels as she gave them nuts, or even snuggling wild deer that she came across, she simply loved animals. When she turned 18, she had already been volunteering at an exotic animal shelter. The other animals seemed to latch onto her quickly, her colleagues just assumed it was because she was more animalistic then they were. Taurs weren't the most common in this line of work afterall. Baby bears were happy to receive bellyrubs from her when they had never been around people, newly-hatched crocodiles enjoy riding on her back half, even a bald eagle chick that came in once was quick to snuggle up to her for warmth. She loved animals, and animals loved her in turn.

Now in a leadership position at the shelter, Rabi has had to take more of a backseat position. Whenever an animal needs to be stopped, or a fiesty beasty is refusing to take their medicine, she's always called in to help. And, like magic and without fail, she always gets them to calm down, sometimes even giggling with them by the time it's done. She doesn't have many pets herself, just a small blind garter snake that proved ill-suited to living at shelter or in the wild, and a deaf rusty-spotted cat that had snuck into her office many times. She's in her late twenties and is neutral towards a relationship. If she ever did date it'd need to be with a fellow animal lover, or so she tells herself.

Oh, and she likes potato chips. They remind her of sweet grasses her Mom used to farm.
