In the beginning, there was only darkness. The entire universe had not yet come to exist. There was nothing. In all directions, only an abyss as far as the eye can see. And in that darkness, there was born a terrible goddess in charge of ruling over it all. Over nothingness, over silence, It all belonged to her. Life, if it could be called that, was hardly worth living.

And then one day there was light. The being called God saw that the light was good, but Nehe covered her eyes and saw it as an annoyance. Over the next few days, the universe came into being, changing the way things worked in the world drastically. Nehe was left out of the loop.

But then, after a week everything had changed. Creatures had come into being in the universe. Most of them weak, pitiful creatures, but a few of them carrying promise of one day holding great power. Humans, elves, animals. Beings of all sizes, shape, and matter came into creation. Some of them could think for themselves, some of them could not. Some of them existed eternally, most had very limited lives where one day they would die.

Darkness. What meaning did it have anymore? Nehelenia was brought into existence for the sake of bringing darkness upon the universe, so that's what she did. It wasn't long before Nehelenia began to seek to control the beings that had been created. She fell upon planet after planet, consuming them in darkness with her deadly power. On some planets, she eliminated all existence. Others, she enslaved the inhabitants. Wherever she touched, plants withered and massive destruction lay in her wake.

That is how she is. This is Queen Nehelenia. Goddess of Darkness. Cross paths with her, and she will purge your soul from existence.











Description of Power

When you think of Nehelenia's power, it would serve well to compare it to a body of water. On one hand she can gentle dip into it, use it to manipulate her surroundings, and change the world to think the way she thinks, to see things her way. Or she can break the dam, and unleash a torrent of power that annihilates everything in its path. Sounds invincible, but it really isn't. With every use of her power, it fatigues Nehe and helps her grow tired. Perhaps one day, her well of energy will run out, and someone will force her to answer for her actions. Maybe. Hopefully.

In other words, if you face her in battle, good luck.

Abilities

Dark Energy:

Other magicians use magic to achieve their goals. They'll open their mouths and speak words of the arcanes and of the elements, curses and blessings to advance their causes. Queen Nehelenia is the goddess of darkness. She doesn't deal with that shit. She can tap into darkness directly, squeezing it into pure energy and launching it into an opponent. Her power is weaker in the daytime, when the sun is shining down upon her and there is very little shadow for her to manipulate. She's still strong, but weaker just the same. But once the sun sets and the darkness clouds in around her, this power is a terrifying sight to behold. Don't let the darkness consume you.

Summoning

Through her travels, Nehelenia has gained many a slave. With a wave of her hand and a single command, she may summon these pets to the battlefield to destroy her enemies. Think of it as a curse, for she's not doing you the honor of dying from the hand of the goddess herself. Humiliating isn't it?

She can summon many beings. From hellhounds to succubi, she loves to put her enemies through many vast experiences before she brings them to their end. The stronger the creature, the more of a drain it puts on her power. It's very likely that she might summon a incredible demi-god right before passing out. She's killed more than a few celestial beings this way, her triumph card that she uses to get herself out of a tight spot.

Personality

As a part of her long existence, Nehelenia is known for being silent. She doesn't ask people what to do or consider the ripple effects that it has upon the world. She just does things. She's a quiet, wicked person.

But if you were to travel to her heart, you would be surprised what you find. Deep inside, Nehelenia is lonely. She has been lonely for quite some time. Her existence in nothingness, the hell she wrecks on worlds, it hasn't done much to earn her many friends. She doesn't even know what a relationship really is. She's never had one. The only thing she realizes is that her heart is empty. She thinks it's a natural thing.

If someone was to meet her, perhaps of equal power. Someone interesting that could speak to her and keep her company. Her heart might soften. She will still be wicked, but perhaps she can be controlled. Perhaps she'll find a place in the universe to settle down, to call home. Not that it would be good for the people that live there, but I'm sure she'd be happier.
