Backstory: The Kingdom of Banrigh, a kingdom with rich history and was once the seat of power to a mighty empire, until unfit rulers caused the collaspe of the once proud empire. Now a small kingdom but with a powerful and highly trained military has kept it from vanishing into the history books. The Ruling King known as Brucarna was a king who had ruled alongside his wife, Queen Mertorius a woman who had once served as one of his most powerful knights...before a mutual attraction formed a bond and they married, her noble blood from a family of knights loyal to the crown helped her establish her position. But then tragedy struck the kingdom as Brucarna was killed by assassins from a rivaling kingdom. Mertorius, enraged by her former husbands passing and with the support of the Kingdom's Head Sorceress, Mertorius took control of the nearly imploding kingdom and with her army's help destroyed the enemy kingdom for their treason. Though she knew that her husband had confided with her, his desire to reclaim the lost lands they're kingdom deserved and even further...Mertorius was inspired and her own ambitious mindset fueled by the desire of her late husband...vowed to reach his dream and form the new Empire.
