Ah but this doll...this doll is very much alive and unsure as to why that is. She is alive and moves with such grace and frivolity but can do things other dolls cannot. She can feel. She can indeed feel. She had found out that she was special. Special indeed. Special that she was made a doll from several magical artifacts and the like. It had not only made her immune to magic itself but had also transcended the very fabric of possibility.
She herself discovered she could make things herself. Dolls were just the start. She could make dolls from about anything but they were never quite as fun as using live subjects to make them. But nothing so morbid as using their flesh. No. Not when their flesh provided her with everything she needed. She could turn other beings into honest-to-goodness dolls.
But as stated, dolls were the start. She could use them and play with them so she'd never get lonely. Then she grew curious and could make these puppets feel like she did and she could even give them certain parts of their body back and made real. This included their actual flesh and organs...but she would still own the little things as her own.
Now. Now she graciously seeks to expand her collection. Why? Why she is lonely of course and more than happy to make a doll...or if she is feeling excessively frisky, might even do things with a doll after it is transformed...including devouring them herself as part of a game...or in other places...
