Popo was and is ever the curious and playful pup. One day he wandered off from his family, he picked up the scent of something that caught his interest. He got separated from his mother and sister but a month later he found his sister Momo again but she too was separated from there mother. The two had some catching up to do and did so. Momo had been put in a box with no food or water and left somewhere. Thankfully she had been found by some nice people and eventually found a good owner. Popo however was not so lucky as his sister though.
He had been captured by some people just wanted to make cash off of him. They chained him up and saw him as a good scam to rob innocent people of there money. They would sell him to whoever would pay the most, then when someone bought him and Popo finally thought he had a home. They would steal him back and sell him again. They would do this over and over. The people that kept selling him, stealing him back and reselling him were all of different species. So Popo started to hate everyone, no matter what species they was. The people that kept selling Popo treated him awful, like he was nothing more than an object instead of an actual person. He was barely given him enough food and water to survive. They kept him outside in the cold and sometimes rainy outdoors. Popo would howl at night from hungry, thirst and lack of a warm place to sleep. The people that had him chained up would just come outside and beat him until he would quiet down. He would curl up in a ball under a tree that the chain he was on barely reached and cry himself to sleep. Popo was miserable and just wanted to finally have a loving home he could call his own.
One day he had enough of it and broke the chain. Popo took off running as fast as he could and barely managed to get away. He got away by running into a forest and the people decided he was not worth that much to look through a forest for him. Popo started to wonder if he was an object to be sold was his life worth anything at all. He stayed in the forest that was next to a park. He find what he could to eat to survive and water when he could find it. Popo was now not only miserable but alone as well. He still did not trust anyone and if someone approached him he would growl and bark as best he could. Popo's bark is a bit of a squeaky one as he is still very young but it was enough to chase people away. His natural curiousness would cause him to venture out of the forest and into the park next to it many times. Popo once saw someone swallow down another person whole and he took off running with his tail between his legs. He was afraid he would be next on there menu. Popo wondered though if he could do this too and after practicing on a few small animals he found he could do it too. However he was much too afraid to try it on anything his size or bigger for fear of becoming there meal instead.
After venturing out of the forest one day Popo picked up a familiar scent and started to follow it. He kept following it, with his nose and face to the ground he was not watching where he was going. He smacked head first into the head of another person. The blow knocked him back and when he looked up he saw it was his sister Momo that he had smacked into. Upon seeing it was her, he pounced on her and greeted her properly. A tackle to the ground and a lick on the cheek. The two talked and that is how Popo found out she had been separated from there mother as well. Momo had a loving home and people that cared about her. She had mentioned inviting Popo to stay with Momo at her owner home but he turned her down. He wanted to find an owner of his own, people that would look out for him, care for him. Popo knew he would have his sister watching his back and he would be watching hers. But just one person could not watch his back all the time. He needed to make more friends and even maybe find a mate. Popo showed his sister his trick of where he could change into a full puppy instead of a demi-human puppy and back again.
He said goodbye to his sister and walked off into another part of the park. Even though Popo was young he still wanted to have a girlfriend or lover. His sister had one and he wanted someone that cared for and loved him like that too. Popo explored more of the park, even the lake and swamp that was near by. He explored the city that was outside the park but after almost getting hit by a metal monster he figured that place was not safe to explore alone or at least not while he was so young. He ran back into the park where he felt safer, which for a park where people eat each other that is saying a lot. Popo sleeps under trees and park benches curled up in a ball for warmth as he has no home yet.

*While exploring the park Popo picked up another familar scent and running as fast as he could he went to it. It lead him right back to his mother, who was over joyed to see him. Popo as soon as he could brought Momo to their mother. She was overjoyed to see both of her puppies safe and told them they could be on there own as long as they came and saw her every so often.
