This creature defies all modern ideas of how a predator should look or be, even in the Park. At around thirty feet long, Proni is longer then most creatures are tall, though twenty feet of her length belongs to her massive 'tail', and she towers above many with a sense of pride. Not a single strand of hair can be found anywhere on her body, looking as if she has more in common with cephalopods or worms then she does mammals so all one sees instead is her dull mauve skin. It's sleek and rubbery, giving way easily to pressure when there isn't bone or muscle beneath it, shimmering in the light as if she was constantly wet, which she normally is. In place of hair Proni has an arrangement of thick tentacles that hang from the back of her skull like hair should, the undersides covered with disguised suckers while the top of them are lined with oval panels of hard chitin at regular intervernals that are an almost radioactive green that glows in the darkness. Most of these tentacles reach down to the small of her humanoid back and are quite dexterous, though she's rarely provoked enough to move them independently. From there, many look to her face next and, for many, that's the last sight they'll ever see. Three large crimson eyes are stacked on top of one another vertically, each narrowed down to slits and lacking any kind of pupil to them at all. They're utterly alien and predatory, but there's something oddly captivating about them...almost mesmerizing...like one can't look away.....but it's the glow that's the kicker, they are suffused with a soft red radiance that can flare MUCH brighter when Proni uses her significant telepathic abilities. The riftkin's face, apart from the eyes, is at once similar enough to be inviting but alien enough to inspire a sense of unease. She lacks any visible ears or nostrils, though there's the slight bump of a nose just beneath those three glowing orbs and her smiling mouth seems to be utterly missing any kind of teeth from first impressions. This doesn't keep the alien from forming facial impressions mind you, but many prey are disconcerted by the little differences.
Down from her smiling face, Proni's slender neck leads down to a thick and powerful human-like body that has many drooling at the sight of it. Many forget she's not human gazing at her, forgetting her sheer bulk and peculiar skin tone as they trace the expansive and abundant curve of her heavy breasts or linger on the puffy aureola of her inverted nubs. Those sumptuous orbs are larger then some small people, a perverse over-abundance of pillowy flesh to lure in victims and prey into her waiting arms. They jiggle and bounce with every movement she makes, captivating the eye and senses with the thick cloud of pheremones that surround this oddly arousing creature. Normally, Proni keeps her rounded and muscled arms crossed beneath her mauve breasts to prop them up, as if offering them to whoever dares to come within arm's reach of her, oddly pointed and nail-less fingers resting on the curve of her waist. Beneath those mouth-watering breasts is a killer (literally) hourglass figure that any woman would kill for. Proni's waist tampers down, not too much but just enough to be sensual, before flaring out into an expansive set of hips that turn Proni into a thick-bodied, beautiful creature with a bottom to make one's head spin! Thick, meaty cheeks that could envelop an entire person whole, Proni's massive buttocks certainly don't do the riftkin's body any injustice and it's often the focus of watchers who happen to view her from behind. Those lush mauve cheeks wiggle and squeak against one another as the riftkin slithers about on the ground, a hypnotizing sight if there ever was one before the eye dips lower. She has the shape of a human down to mid-thigh, which means she has the shape of hips and the dip between them to her swollen and completely nude mound, always dripping it's sweet honey down unto her segmented tail. And that's where any semblance of normality is thrown out the window.
Proni's tail compromises the majority of her massive bulk and is similar to her head-tentacles in nature. It's divided up into numerous segments, like an earthworm, and each segment of rubbery flesh is protected by a quartet of radioactive green chitin plates set an equal distance apart from one another all the way to the tip of her tail. Despite it's size, it's quite quick and nimble, capable of astonishing speed and acts of dexterity when it's prideful owner requires it too.
The riftkin are the bane of planar beings and those who rely on magic, a race of ravenous beings who prowl the spaces between worlds in search of those who would seek to travel between them. Most often these predators will follow such travelers when they tear a portal between planes and wait for them to exit before the alien creature heaves itself through the portal itself to devour creator of the rift and all those present before disappearing back into that cold, starry gulf. Normally this means the riftkin, named for their tendency to 'stalk' rifts, are only rarely encountered by mortals, except for mages or witches. When they are encountered by mortals, it's often after the predator has caught a summoned demon or celestial in mid-transit and devoured it, appearing in the summoning circle in it's place. Thus, they've been confused for an obscure type of celestial or demon in many, otherwise quite trusty, treaties on denizens of the planes. Usually these brief contacts are fatal, though an unusually satiated riftkin has been known to spare it's summoner in exchange for another meal or even convinced to provide some service for the mortal in question. There's rumors of foul mages who make a habit of summoning riftkin and providing a feast of slaves so the creatures will spare their lives, before imploring the alien beings to assassinate a rival or enemy of theirs. No ritual can be more dangerous since the riftkin don't consider themselves murderers, just predators that need to feast on sentient beings, and many take offense to the implication that they kill for fun. Even the mercenary riftkin who accept these deals do so for the additional food, not because they enjoy killing (exceptions, of course, exist but they are rare). Because of the few times this has succeeded though, the alien creatures have gained a reputation of being ruthless killers and evil monsters willing to profit off the misery of others, a reputation the riftkin seem largely unaware of considering their usually brief forays into the mortal planes. What many mages don't know is that each time a riftkin is summoned, purposefully or not, it weakens the boundaries between worlds on that sphere, bringing that world ever closer to the starry gulf the riftkin call home. There have been cases where one too many riftkin was summoned, at which point the world was physically transported to the starry gulf and the inhabitants set upon by hordes of ravenous riftkin in a feeding frenzy of monstrous proportions. Learned sages who know of these terrifying incidents have also learned that it's on these disappeared worlds that the riftkin actually make their homes where the howling winds and cold of the void makes the world more habitable to their tastes and their ability to weaken the boundary between planes by being summoned is actually an evolved trait used to bring the entire race more food and lairs. These same sages also wonder if the riftkin aren't a created species, designed to keep mortals from traversing the planes by posing an ever-present danger to those who dare do so.
Why are the riftkin so dangerous though? It's their natural defenses and means of subduing prey that make them so formidable, not their tendency to appear where they aren't supposed to. Magic, beyond summoning magic, is veritably useless against a riftkin, all but the most powerful magic simply unable to affect the creatures. In addition, their rubbery flesh and chitin armor can deflect physical attacks to some degree while the chitin is hard and quite reflective. On the offensive side, riftkin are far quicker then they might appear and their glowing red eyes hold deadly power. Those who meet those red orbs can, and usually are, blasted with waves of psychic 'static' that white-out their minds and make them susceptible to hypnotic suggestion and control. It's unknown how long this suggestible state lasts because most such victims are devoured soon after before the effect can wear off. Most magical mental defenses prove inadequate against this psychic assault, but an exceptionally strong-willed individual could fight off the attack and, if they struggled free from the creature's grasp or averted their gaze, escape being hit by it again. Their physical strength is over-whelming for most human sized creatures, but they rarely use it, preferring their psychic/telepathic abilities and their long, sticky tongues to physical brutality. Additionally, though many fail to notice it, some riftkin are surrounded by a cloud of universal pheromones that dull the fear of prey animals (which is almost anything really) and entice them to come closer to the riftkin. Not deadly in and of itself, but it can quickly become lead to as much. All of these abilities facilitate one aim, the devouring of prey. Riftkin have a highly heightened sense of taste and are practically addicted to the sensation of devouring live meals. Their mouths are capable of stretching much wider then they seem so that the alien creatures can swallow down prey alive and whole. Once swallowed, prey is taken to the first stomach in a riftkin's humanoid torso, where the creature actually feeds on the prey's psyche. The act heightens every sensation for the victim until the riftkin is finished with the mental meal, which sets the prey's mind on a continuous loop. The prey is, literally, incapable of feeling anything else then what they felt when the mental feeding was finished. If they weren't in pain, then they don't feel pain anymore, if they were happy or aroused, then they remain as such. If they WERE in pain or frightened, then that sensation continues even if they somehow escaped the riftkin's belly. Either way, once the creature's psyche has been absorbed, their body is pushed down into the riftkin's second stomach, located in it's segmented tail were their actual body is digested and absorbed. Nothing goes to waste and every part of the victim is absorbed, nothing is left. The only thing a riftkin might excrete is something they are incapable of digesting, which isn't much. It can take anywhere from one to six human sized individuals for a riftkin to feel satiated for a time, at which point they usually fawn over the sensations coming from their stomachs or take naps.
So...how did Proni come to the park? Easy. She was accidentally summoned. Except where, normally, she would return to her home plane the Park's peculiar magic has ensured she can't return for the time being. For the first time, she's trapped in a place she was summoned too and she's quite curious about the event. For now, she explores the Park and all it can offer, not quite feeling determined enough to try and find a way home...not when there's so many delicious new morsels to try!
Favorite Food: Succubi or half-human/half-demon hybrids. For some reason, their smoky taste is irresistible to the riftkin.
OOC: I prefer play that is detailed and verbose. Now, before someone mentions it, yes I do fool around in the vore room lots of times in much smaller posts, but that's just what it is. I like to goof off in there to relax, though sometimes I find something more serious and fun. Also, I can be picky about what males and anthros I play with, so don't feel bad if I say no. That doesn't mean don't see if I'd want to in the first place either though! <3 Mostly I'm reactionary, so don't be afraid to whisper me!
