Samuel Oak, or as most people call him "Professor Oak".
He concentrates his time on the Bonds between Pokémon and Humans to help understand
the complex nature of these many many creatures.
His lab lies on a hill in the park, with a massive fenced area where Pokémon roam about
who were put into PCs by their Trainers, as well as a variety of Wild Pokemon that snuck in.
Oak often allows others to play with said Pokémon so they'd have company.
Inventor of the very first Pokédex as well as one who starts many Pokémon Journeys.
He can be found giving out Pokémon to start the quest of many trainers.
However due to having a massive ammount of spare starters transferred to him,
he will give out a single Pokémon to people, even if they are already trainers.
Recieving a Pokémon from Oak will mean you OOCly control it,
and any Pokémon beyond the 6 limit for your party would be sent to his lab.
You can also decline recieving a Pokémon from Oak if you really don't want to be a trainer.
