Nina, the teenage Princess of Winlan, and a recognizable character from the Breath of Fire series. She is the first (that we know of) in a long line of winged princesses to appear in the series.
Nina's Personlity: She's not your typical damsel-in-distress, but nor is she completely capable of taking care of herself, either. The young Princess is known to be incredibly stubborn, not often taking 'no' for an answer when somebody's life is on the line - but she's also incredibly kind. She gets jealous pretty easily; be it over a boy, power of magic, flight capability, or even one's outfit. Aside from all this, she is known to have a silly, playful side that is very heartwarming - she is beloved by her father and her Kingdom.
Nina's Magic: Nina follows her royal families tradition of learning healing, and support magic, and is exceptional at doing so. Her spells include the Cura's, spells that replenish certain amounts of health, depending on how powerful she casts it, as well as magic that heals any sort of ailment, like poisoning, and paralysis. The princess also has the power to revive a fallen friend, of course, this spell does not work if that friend is in a mouth/stomach, or if she is.
The young woman can also use powerful supportive magics to greatly raise her or anothers defenses, easing the pain of a powerful strike, as well as raising ones attack and magic power.
Nina's Physical Capability: Aside from her ability to fly, and her (eventual) ability to transform into an enormous white bird, and carry her allies on her back - Nina's physical capabilities are nothing more than ordinary. She uses a rapier, although she is not altogether amazing at using it - nor can she deliver a strong strike. Her fragile, feminine frame is incapable of wielding other weapons efficiently, so the princess heavily relies on her Magic and items to be effective in battle.
